Yeah - not if the Hawks win the lottery - only if their pick out of the top-10.
I don't know what is "too much" to pay for Trouba. It's all a little like monopoly money to me. I suppose I'd cash in a couple hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place and pony up around $7.5M for him. Don't know if he would agree to that but I don't think the Hawks should go higher than that. - EbonyRaptor
Problem with current Hawk roster construction is that with Seabs at almost $7mil you have to round out the D-corps with cheaper guys. Either that or you are Dumping Saad and/or Anisimov and filling them in with ELC/minimal contract guys to make up the difference.
The problem with Kumas - as with all of the other pile-on-the-toppings places - is that they lose track of the meat.
The only thing a hamburger needs is top-quality beef, a nice cheese, some seasonings, and a very good bun. Cooked medium rare.

I'm a pretty simple burger guy so what you described is exactly how I like my burgers but basic condiments are fine. Don't really go for the different toppings and combinations although I can see why others are into that stuff.
I also like medium rare. Well done or even a step below is just not good.

Problem is a lot of places will not make you a medium rare burger. Places who are grinding their own meat and selling you a $15 burger will, but your run of the mill fast food place or mom and pop place won't risk it.

Big if and likely not realistic but would be awesome if youngsters like Kurashev and Entwistle could be those guys. Both should develop first in the AHL. You never know, though, who could be dark horses and wild cards.

He has put up 60 points. I think 3M/AAV is pretty much hopeless at this point. Even 5M may be a stretch. He will be a UFA at the end of this deal. Someone will offer him more. - Elbows15
If he can't show the ability to play even "average" in the d-zone, then move him at the TDL. Look at your top scoring D-men. Guys Like Karlsson, Burns, Doughty, Giordano, Hedman, etc. while they may not all be great in their own zone they all can play average to above average defense. To spend $5mil or more on a one dimensional player just does n ot make sense.

This is true. Having Seab's $7M to use elsewhere would go a long way towards fixing things.

Its why I said to trade him at the TDL. To be fair to Gustafsson he has been better in his own zone of late. His main problem to me is his tendency to have one of two completely WTF moments during a game. Its almost as if he loses concentration.
BTW - all this burger/dog joint talk and so far no mention of Superdawg on Milwaukee just south of Devon. It's a travesty I tell ya. The place with the dancing hot dogs on the roof. It's a Chicago institution.
Ok, that's a bit extreme. Hopefully it comes with a side of crash cart.

Whooper-cheesey?
Meh. Great childhood memories, but it’s more gimmick than great.

Hot Doug's off of Western was good. He's been gone a while though.

In the Cap era the teams that have won it have been able to mix their high-priced guys with enough guys on ELC's or bridge deals. in 2010 the Hawks won with guys like Hjalmarsson, Bolland, Burish, Brower on entry deals, Kane and Toews on bridge deals, Sharp, Seabrook, Versteeg on reasonable deals. In '13 and '15 just swap some of the names.
The Penguins won with guys like Rust, Sheary, Guentzel, Murray on low ELC's
Caps had contributors on ELC's or reasonable deals.
Point is, things just need to fall right. Your high-priced vets need to be major contributors and you need enough guys on the low end contributing above their pay grade.
A guy like Seabrook means you need a couple more guys playing above their pay, because he can no longer pay up to his.

I haven't eaten there in forever so you're probably right. And actually now that I think of it there was a place on Devon by California named Wolfy's that was pretty good. We used to drive there for lunch in high school when we first got wheels. Good memories there too.
