Ever try chicken de John. Same idea as shrimp de john. Crumpled garlic on oven breast or deep fried chicken breast. I have it with angel hair pasta and light amount of a side of marinara sauce. Simon at Simon's, a very attractive Greek restaurant in Villa Park on Roosevelt & Ardmore will make it for you. I was a waiter there 1993. Nicely landscaped and outdoor patio too in warm weather. OMG the large dessert bar in the case at front counter. An upgrade of the Omega restaurants imho

Some players are likely not re-upped after the season like Holland, Schroeder, Broadhurst, Campbell, Martinsen, etc. I would retain Knott and Noel. Both have another year on their contracts anyway. Still need some veterans so retain guys like L Johnson, Louis, and T Sikura who have 3-4 years experience in Rockford.

Hope Carlsson and Gilbert both playing for Rockford next game. Is Carlsson injured - asking AEL_FOX if he knows. Thought maybe Carlssin would get a one game call up. Imagine they need Gilbert back in Rockford. Making playoffs but none of those prospects signing ATO and such contracts elgible? I think they are. Often seen prospects late season and AHL playoffs.

The thing you have to keep in mind is GM’s talk all the time. When I hear that they are talking about someone like Malkin, it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s who they will end up with, but don’t be surprised if they end up with a Malkin type of player.

I am not a big Al's fan. I think it's the spices/seasoning just not being my style. That said, I have not gone to their original location, and I hear that is still their best. My favorite beef is probably at the Luke's downtown. I do like the combo at Johnnie's, also. Not a fan of Portillo's. Buona Beef was surprisingly good when I tried it.

The burger I miss most is Jury's. I loved that place. Kuma's, I loved it ten years ago. Has it remained intact since they expanded?

An average Italian Beef is better than the best Philly cheesesteak.

You want something similar. Go to Buena Beef and get a beef w/provolone and sweet peppers. It will be better than Pats, Genos or any of the other Phillys.

A roast pork sandwich from DiNics either with or without broccoli rabe is the sandwich to get in Philly
