A little late to the foodie discussion...all that talk about burgers...here in Columbus, there's a place called Thurman's Cafe and one of their signature burgers - the Thurmanator (for Ahnold when he comes into town yearly).
The THURMANATOR
The scene: Bottom bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, banana peppers, 12 ounce burger, bacon,
cheddar, another 12 ounce burger, sautéed onions & mushrooms, ham, mozzarella & American
cheese, top bun served with fries and a pickle spear 21.99
- conwell
I would be in a food induced coma if I ate that MONSTER of a burger...
or on the porcelain throne for a couple of days... |

Is a second bun an option? One burger for you and the other to share. |

What’s the point of that? Is there any food logic to it?
Or is it just piling crap on top of crap to no apparent purpose?
Other than trying for a spot on some TV show.

That pickle spear is over the top.
And by the way - what is that regurgitated looking lump on the leeward side of the burger and pickle? |

If you're proposing a genius category, you're talking to the wrong person, I'll select my bracket in the Moron category, if you set up one of those. |

That burger looks like something Shaggy and Scooby would eat during that part of the show when they'd get the munchies. |

sorry everytime i hear someone mention leddy...this all i can think about...5 (frank)n years ago...wow
- bogiedoc
You know when this game turned? In the 1st period when Bolig talked major $hit to Williams after the Hawks had just scored. The Hawks were all over them and just like that......poof.
Had the joy of driving home and listening to Jay Zawaski blame Kris Versteeg for the loss. Hilarious.
Where our seats used to be I could see that puck fluttering right in.....ugh. To this day I refuse to watch any highlights from that game. |

He’s an Al’s non-paid, non-celebrity spokesperson.
Also, Portillo’s taking more hits than they deserve here. Not the best by any stretch, but far, far from the worst. I’ve had some pretty bad beefs in my day. Portillo’s I’d say is above average. |

Anyone see the chat thread from the Athletic with Powers and Lazerus? And no....I am not STEVE M....that man hates Bowman 10000000000 times more.
The interesting part is Powers mentioned the frustration by some veterans on the lack of moves at the deadline. I don't want to go down the rabbit hole too much, but after seeing that, reading the quotes from Kane frustrated about the years he and Toews had, no playoffs, and then his Arnold "We'll be back" postgame Wednesday......have to think Mr. Kane is sending a not so subtle message to management.
Also interesting the answer on Panarin and the resentment he has towards the Hawks for blindsiding him on that trade to Columbus after a team friendly bridge deal.
BTW that shot by Barrie last night for the Avs? Good god....short side, high, horrible angle, and goalie didn't even drop down far enough to give him a great opening.....hell of a shot. |

Oh I don't disagree...…..just remember Bolig lining up next to Williams before the face off and just standing there running his mouth...….
IF Im Williams and being talked to by a guy with skins on the wall is one thing, but by a fringe 4th line player? That would wake me up and my teammates pretty quick. Never poke a sleeping bear.
Great series....everyone knew that was the true cup final. The winner was going to wax the Rangers. |

nutz to that...bowman made his early moving smaltz for strome and perlini... - bogiedoc
Agreed. Deadline deals rarely work out either unless the team is already a top contender tweaking their lineup. |
