A few years ago we were in Toledo for a tournament for my daughter's fastpitch team, we were told we had to try a hotdog from Tony Pacos. What a dissapointment that was! - paulr
Was in Madrid and saw a place over by one of the museums called "Chicago Hot Dogs". I walked in and saw them putting ketchup on their dogs and walked out. Wouldn't have eaten their anyway, but thought I'd check it out. |

It happens. Just like any restaurant. There's always another out there so move on...especially beef or hot dog stands in Chicago. |

Hawks blew two 2-goal leads in that game, IIRC. - StLBravesFan

Exactly. There are 4-5 places within minutes from me that serve up good to excellent beef standish fare.
And a Portillio's for a burger. Speaking of Portillo's, while I am not a fan of their beef, their sausage is outstanding. Whenever I had parties for the princesses, I always got the sausage from Portillo's and it went quickly. The chicken and pasta always from Rosati's. The chicken from Rosati's is excellent. Surprisingly. Definitely not a place you think of when it comes to ordering fried chicken but if anyone is having a party and there is one near by, it is definitely worth it. |

I think Calgary and Tampa. I worry about goaltending, they haven't been bad of late, but the big stage is where it matters. |

The hawks did blow two 2-goal leads. But as was said yesterday, 2 goals LA scored were offside. There was no challenge at that time. I know the challenge bothers some, but it was long overdue in my opinion. During my time at the games since the 2005 lockout I saw multiple offside misses per game. Each game, like 5 on average. The game is now so fast the limesmen need help once in a while. Not talking about a judgement call, it either is or ain't offside. |

Speaking of offsides and the challenges to offsides, how do you feel about the skate in the air as a player crosses the blue line on a potentially close offside? Technically it's offside but some feel it should be allowed. |

Offside is offside. Stop (frank)ing with the rules. Using a vertical plane bullpoop will add to more reviews. Its pretty simple. If you have one foot inside the zone the other in the air, you're offside. All the people that say it had nothing to do with the goal are mutants. Yes , it did. The play should have been stopped at that point.

After all the years of bending down and dragging my leg over the blue line I'd say if the skate is in the air it's offside. But I know that conflicts with the puck breaking the plane of the goal line. So if the NHL wants to re-define the rule that's fine by me. But whatever they settle on, that's the call. Is it is or is it ain't offside and get it right. |

I was going to bring that up. I agree with Elbows that offside is offside but there are so many people who believe for one reason or another the skate in the air shouldn't matter. It's like the popup slide in baseball, I'm of the opinion if the baserunner pops up and loses contact with the base as he's being tagged, then he's out. But many beleive that isn't the how the rule should be applied. |

Agree on baseball. And I would prefer hockey doesn't change things either. The NHL has a camera at each blue line but sometimes other players get in the way. Doesn't matter to me, roof camera shot or camera at each end of blue line. Just do what's necessary to get it right. Hopefully whatever they decide doesn't lead to a review that takes more time than it should. |

It is. Get some sides of sweet and hot peppers and you're set. Love their Maxwell St's too.
Never had Rosati's for chicken. There's a place up here people like called Chicken Shack. It was ok...still like KFC Original Recipe better. Don't eat it often (like once every couple years) but like it when I do. |

I've only ever had pizza from Rosati's. Canadian bacon on top was really good. |

Not a KFC fan at all. Of all the franchise fried chicken places I prefer Popeyes. We had some hot fried chicken in Nashville from a place called Moore's last summer, it was the best fried chicken I have ever had. |

KFC is a lot greasier. I like a famous bowl every now and then. I prefer Popeyes, but it is more expensive. |
