Kurashev making his pro debut tonight playing wing with L Johnson as his center. Nilsson on the other wing.

Jhawk will be happy that Carlsson is in the lineup again. Starting D: Jokiharju, Carlsson, Krys, Gilbert, Hillman, and Campbell. Prefer to see Tuulola instead of Campbell but whatevers.

well they blew 1 st period 2 goal lead and were up 4-3 going into the 3rd.

what can ya say LA won 3 str game 7 on the road and were constantly coming in games to win

I know that most of you will not agree with me, but Bettman was priming everybody that Vegas was going to get an NHL Franchise. By having LA win 3 game 7's, he set up the 7-7-7 mantra.

See, is that a coincidence? Hell no!

So if a team wins 3 straight series in 6 games - does that mean the next franchise is going to HELL!

I'm watching London play Guelph, my god is Boqvist something. His anticipation, quickness, on ice vision and awareness are all off the charts. He makes passes that his teammates aren't good enough or aware enough to do anything with. I'm a proponent of him playing in London next year to continue to develop but I wonder if he's beyond junior hockey?

Entwhistle is playing for Guelph and he's playing well.

Some guy named Owen Lalonde, a defenseman for Guelph just scored. The Hawks need a Lalonde I think.

Hawks moved up to spot 11 last night. They really need to lose these last 2 games. The best they can draft at is spot 10 (which sucks because spot 9 to 10 difference is very large).
- RedRevenge

I don't see where picking 9 or 10 makes much difference. You draft the best 18 year old available at your turn and hope like hell he becomes a very good NHL'er. Look where guys like Mathew Barzal, Claude Giroux got picked. Compare and contrast with Kyle Beech and Jack Skille.

Unless I am missing something there are no Crosby's, Kane's, McDavids in this draft. but there might be a Brayden Point, Duncan Keith or a Patric Hornqvist out there with a lonely look on their face.

You just posted that three times. Is there a hidden meaning in that do you think? Did Bettman put you up to it? If I read your post backwards will it reveal anything?

After the top 2. the next 10-15 picks are all over place as far as order. Anyone in the top 15 is going to get a good player with some vg upside potential.

Do you think playing in the AHL would be a good next step for Boqvist or best to stay in juniors? I’m guessing the latter but you see him actually play a lot.

Sadly at one point in recent history guys like Shawn Lalonde and Dillon Fournier were the “best” D prospects in the system.

We are in a happier place now. Potentially.

Hayton went top 5 after being in the teens or even 20s most of the time pre 2018 draft. I remember seeing the Blackhawks behind the scenes video of that draft day and Hawks scouting staff especially Kelley was surprised Hayton went so high.

Is Entwistle playing center or wing, and does he look quick/fast enough to play NHL?
