Hayton went top 5 after being in the teens or even 20s most of the time pre 2018 draft. I remember seeing the Blackhawks behind the scenes video of that draft day and Hawks scouting staff especially Kelley was surprised Hayton went so high. - AEL_Fox

I thought it was really rude. |

Is Entwistle playing center or wing, and does he look quick/fast enough to play NHL? - EbonyRaptor
I am blaming the stream I was watching his last game but he looked Hayden-ish to me. when I saw him play at the WJC his skating looked okay. |

Do you think playing in the AHL would be a good next step for Boqvist or best to stay in juniors? I’m guessing the latter but you see him actually play a lot.
Sadly at one point in recent history guys like Shawn Lalonde and Dillon Fournier were the “best” D prospects in the system.
We are in a happier place now. Potentially. - AEL_Fox
Elbows could answer better than me if Rockford is better for Boqvist's development. I think the coaching in London is excellent, my concern is he is too good for most of his teammates and they can't handle passes Boqvist is able to get to them. I'd hate to see him reel back his creativness because of the low skill of most of his teammates. However even in the OHL he is only average defensively and I think that's where he can learn that side of his game.

I want to see what they do with the coaching staff in Rockford going into next season.
One positive would be him being with guys who he could be playing with on the big club and the group building chemistry. |

They were thrilled cause he meant their guys were going to fall to them. Thought was more of a chuckle stunned reaction. Whateves, tho. I think the GM is Ariz rubs a lot of people the wrong way because of his arrogance, supposedly. |

Is Boqvist eligible to play in the AHL? I get confused with the variations of the rules. He will turn 19 in August.

I think of it from the kid and his parents' perspective. Just poopty to do by guys drafting 3 after them.
That gm is a numbers guy douche. |

Guelph seem to use him on the wing and at center? When hes on with Suzuki, a centerman, Entwhistle takes many of the defensive zone faceoffs. He's a good strong skater, he keeps up but doesn't appear to have great top end speed, his first steps are good but don't seem great. The problem could be watching big guys on TV they sometimes appear to be slow when he in fact is keeping up. |

Entwhistle just scored a nice goal, alone in front moves the puck across the crease and put it in. |

Yes. He is considered a loan so he doesn't fall under the CHL age rules. Like Nylander did for the Leafs. |

That Norfolk team in the AHL that John Cooper coached produced a whole bunch of the guys now playing for the Lightning. The idea is a good one. As long as Ulf Samuelsson or Ted Dent isn't the coach. |

Yeah, nice guy and great teammate. I think it's his last season. Too much hype otherwise. He even started on the first line. |
