Some people hit on it last with some of the milestones:
Gus - 60 pts
Strome 20 G 56 pts (50 as a Hawk)
Toews eclipses 80 pts for the first time
I know, just numbers in a season with no playoffs, but still somewhat promising. - HawkintheD
Throw in Adb pissing on the words "sophomore slump." All the focus was on Kane and his awesome year, but milestones happened all around. Very nice to see, especially building and moving forward. |

Meh.
We used to regularly surpass that back in the Cup days.
Memories... misty water colored memories....

Most of it was food talk, but there's something to 1) not being in contention and 2) I've been told about a good handful of old posters who don't post here any more, and still hitting a high mark.
"April's showers may bring Tyler dollars." Something like that. |

There’s something to watching the playoffs without stressing over each game - period - shift - each missed assignment or TO - each failed clear - each DOG or TMM penalty.... |

There's that too. I totally agree. Playoffs bring on a different level of stress. I've also been told about the unhappy campers during cup winning times. At least things are more positive, right? |

Some campers are looking for something to be unhappy about ... oh look, a playoff game I can whine about. |

Oh yeah...by a country mile. I think it starts with the blogger. No secret I wasn't a big fan of Uncle Drew, but one thing I've never seen TC do is take someone to task for being on either side of the coin, whether it be glass half full or half empty.
Not that JJ ever felt the need to affirm the Hawks had a good team when they were winning Cups but he was Johnny on the spot when someone dared get a little too giddy about the team. |

If that rumor of Hayes coming to Chicago is possible where does fit top 6 winger or 3rd line center. That would be great if it happens just my opinion5to 6 million 4 years. |

Unless he pops in this evening, I suppose we’ll have to wait til halfway through the first period of game 1 next season, to get another declaration that he is “done with this team.” |

I just hope we leave a yellow stain on the Preds' ice tonite. Anything to leave a golden shower on their first place in the central. |

Please no Kevin Hayes. Beside having some youthful indiscretions that don't put him in a very intelligent light, he didn't want to play here ... so why would we want a guy that that didn't want to play for the Hawks. |
