Not for Edler. We’re taking about teams to target for cap dumps. |

JB picked up a few late round draft picks this year didn't he? My hope was to get a few draft picks this season that could step into the lineup next or the year after. I'm hoping we don't see this years 1st rounder having to spend another year in Junior and another 3 years in the AHL before the canucks can reap some benefit. - bloatedmosquito
Do you see someone if we pick in 9-10 range that will have an impact on the Canucks lineup within 2 seasons? |

These possibilities are way more exciting to me than signing overpriced UFA’s to NTC deals. |

So much for patience and Draft and DEVELOP
- VANTEL
That's not it. With high draft picks comes some top end skill. Lots of examples of top draft picks making an immediate impact. Rounds 2-7 not so much. Those you'd expect to take time to develop.
I think your laughy face is an over reaction. |

Agreed for the most part. I’d still sign him if he’d take a limited NTC for 2 years and then eventually flip him at the TDL next season or the year after.
I want more draft picks. - Nucker101
We already know how Edler and TDLs turn out. No need for groundhog day.

That’s why I said limited NTC. Like 10 teams he doesn’t wanna go to. Rest are fair game |

Would have to trade up for him. If that doesn’t happen, I really think Seider has a chance to see NHL ice in <2yrs. Also, if Dach falls - no brainer. |

Yeah, those guys need to waive though or at least be willing to come to Vancouver unless you take on something small |

This is why I hate predictions and love history. Based on canuck draft history our likelihood of hitting on a pick that makes any kind of difference is low. Death valley low.
There are many, many experts/wizards on the draft out there (and in here) much, much more knowledgeable than myself. All indication is that most in the 1st round will need time to develop.
So the question becomes finding those players who take less time to find their top end/gear. If I knew who that was then I wouldn't be here talking to you guys. |

You blatantly lied about something I said and it sucks because nothing will be done about it. - bloatedmosquito
Don't spew any of this poop in my box. Just (frank) off. And I did confront your message about it so cut and paste what ever you want. Even if I dont remember it word for word... who the (frank) do you think you are? You take this poop from the forum to my mail... because you don't like the way I post. I would never cross the lines you do you phony ass.
You lie over and over about how those arguments play out. The one with Lefty last year... he blew his lid and fired personal shots not me. Next day you are on your box going off about me taking opinions personal... NO, that was Lefty firing insults and personal shots. I returned none of it. I only confronted him after seeing you guys have a big lying discussion about it and still I fired no insults. You sell that bullpoop over and over... last time during the holidays when Lefty once again popped his top all by himself with no return fire from me. There you were shooting your mouth off about how I post.
Now your feeling are hurt. You're a real peace of hypocritical lying work.

Possibly Boldy is gone yes.
Not a fan of trading up on the contrary i like trading down for the right deal. If nothing happens i’m fine with that. |

I keep seeing Hughes, Kakko talk but not a whole lot after that. Anyway, what's the likelihood of seeing any of them in the 12-14 spot?
I would be so pumped to get a top 3 pick. Does that not make this rebuild go a bit quicker? Don't see why wanting a high draft pick as the same as wanting to rush this rebuild... |

This is why Benning needs an extension unless he’s getting fired after this season(unlikely).
