I have no confidence in Carter Slutton or Anus Ullmark as our goalies going forward. |

If we lose to a goalie making his first start in the NHL while in our own building on fan appreciation night, they should fire Housley as soon as the game ends and if they don't, and I hear one god damn "I liked our effort tonight" I swear to god I will explode. Literally explode. - BeadyEyedDouche
I vote “yes” |

I'm hoping we do have an alternative competent one next season. |

6 i'm thinking Most from the amerks. 2 new outsiders - cabin
I’m hoping it’s only Olof and Nylander here full time next year, I don’t think pilot is ready for a full 82 honestly, he would be a good 7th man |

I do think Housley should be released after sometime following Saturday's final game.
The pundits seem to be divided, but most believe so as well.
The outliers believe Botts will want to bring him back on a short leash. Fine.
With respect to Risto's future, recently I have been a proponent of trading him for scoring help, assuming that help is a top 6 forward in the 60 point range. The desire to trade him is based on his rather abysmal stats and the eye test of seeing him make the same mistakes over and over again, but more so his horrible transition game in exiting the red-zone.
That said, I wonder if a competent Coaching staff could reduce his defensive lapses to make him more defensively reliable. That should be a major question Bott's needs to find the answer to before trading him out. If the answer is no, green light the trade. If the answer is yes, then retaining him and finding a way to make him a net zero rather than a historically bad negative player would be huge.

The real question we should be asking now is, are we going to get the classic blues back next year for our 50th? |

Pilut is ready for a bottom pairing role and then with good play can elevate into the top 4. Smith is another 4th liner with 3rd line upside but I'd rather watch him then girgensons. Thompson will be back as well fighting for a spot. I think Asplund needs another 30-40 games in the AHL next year and he can be a late season call up for us. He could be our Larsson with more offensive intuition. |

you can't be serious? He has looked slightly better than Nelson, and if it was measured in metric, it would be millimeters. |

My thought...Coaches program players to play to their program and nothing else . good coaches have a program that feeds off a players strength and removes their weaknesses . Housley hasn't shown that . 2 seasons now.. Last place the past season and minimal improvement this season. Even with 8-9 new quality players
Seems his style isn't a NHL style in this town. |

he's been a bit of a mess this last little while but I think he's got the skills to hold down a bottom pair spot next year. |
