Entwistle one of the best Bass players ever. Moon was pretty good but more a crazy character than anything.
- boonerbuck
For sure Entwistle was great...Moon as well but was he a John Bonham, Neil Peart or Daney Carey? Maybe not...
All time great bassists are aplenty:
John Paul Jones
Geddy Lee
Jack Bruce
Les Claypool
Phil Lynott
Tony Levin
Sting
Lemmy
McCartney
Squire
Sheehan
and I would for sure toss Cliff Burton in there for the glory Metaliica years.
Lots of great players...
But I would put Geddy and Levin right close to the tops anyday. |

Are there any Canucks that can slide down and play for Utica?
Too lazy to look (plus at work) |

I'd vote: Paul Simonon, Dee Dee Ramone and Lemmy as my top 3. - dbot
Ya I enjoyed the Clash and the Ramones a lot. Lemmy was just a fixture for me as I grew up a major metalhead. Steve Harris from Maiden as well forgot to mention...huge influences.

Briesbois Sautner Schenn They are out of the playoffs with two games left no need. Sautner would need to clear waivers same as Schenn |

Absolutely. Saw the Peppers and Michael Balzary (Flea) live a few times he killed it.
Geezer Butler and John Deacon deserve mention as well. |

Careful now.
You're going to get the reputation of being on team pom pom if you like everyone.
....is that still a thing here? |

Could he finally be the death of the drop pass? - A_SteamingLombardi
The fact that they make him do the drop pass infuriates me
The drop pass eliminates everything that he is good at. |
