This is not really ever true of any wrong sude player, but he had played it and could. But not as good as his natural side which he has played for the vast majority of his life

I think whoever takes him 3rd will regret it. Passing on better forwards to lock in the top Dman in a weak D class 3rd overall...

Benning also said in an interview yesterday on SN650 some tidbits about the direction this upcoming year.

He mentioned he likes Pearson with Bo and why wouldn't he ? 9 goals 12 pts in 19 games 18 goals totaled for 2019. He did also mention that for years he has been looking for a winger for him and he will probably bring one in via trade or free agency this summer.

He also mentioned looking for a Dman via trade or free agency. I think Benning did good work last week adding some depth to the D. I was impressed by Rafferty yesterday and thought I hope they take a long hard look at this kid.

Edler Brock Demk Goldy's contracts were all mentioned . Mostly the same stuff you always hear. He can absolutely not give Edler protection against the draft. I would let him walk if it comes to the line in the sand. Seeing some of these guys like Sautner Briesbois Stecher Rafferty will all need to be protected.

My opinion is some of the holes may have already been filled with Pearson Leivo and maybe Rafferty . It will be a fun summer .

I do keep having a recurring dream that we draft second but I think we get it through trade.

I had a bottom 5 finish this year, can admit I was wrong. Obviously without accounting for what happens at the draft and what happens via free agency or trade, I can see this team legitimately finishing 12-15 as is next year.

you assume right. I don't think they make the playoffs, and I would hope that the entire western conference improves a little over how bad they were this year. It will be really interesting to see what happens over the summer.
