Is that a Pat shart? |

I like Cody Eakin. $3.85m cap hit is a lot. Blackhawks need to get some of their guys signed and see who they can move (AA?) then figure out what they can afford. - matt_ahrens
3.85M not alot for next year. He's a UFA after nextl season and an upgrade over Krugs. Treat him as a rental and flip him if necessary at the Feb 2020 TDL. |

Caggiula past Pecker Rinne. 2-0 Yeah, they won't go far in the playoffs. |

Pat said something about how well he was playing in his first year as a Hawk. I figure that was the tip off to expect him back. |

Just said something similar, Duffy. He's looking like poop, but what else is new? Haha! |

Team looks a lot better with no pressure on them.... sigh. It’d be nice to have some playoff hockey here. |

Agree, the hawks picked a tough time (for us fans) to get hot. |

Not sure how that wasn’t a penalty on the Strome take down.... |

They got themselves back in the mix after having the worst record in the league deep into the season - I think the won some pressure games in there. Just not enough depth to finish it. |

Was not a fan of Ward, and felt Forsberg should have played ahead of him at the start of the season . Ward has won me over for the most part . I imagine Forsberg will bolt after the way he has been mishandle here .You could do worse then Ward next year .I think Crow will have his comeback year next ,Ward would be more of a known as the back-up . |

Or consistent. Injuries didn't help either to key players. |

Yep. Top guys aren’t always going to be clicking. Need timely secondary scoring from the 3rd and 4th line. |

Hard to believe central scouting had rated Turris ahead of Kane for the 2007 NHL draft. |

Is this the same team we are playing that wiped the floor with our supposedly superior roster team (younger core plus Panarin) 2 years ago in playoffs? Preds should be playing for their lives this game as win/lose may mean playing against Avs with easy win or Blues with likely lose in the first round. |

I agree, but it all depends on how fragile Crawford is. Forsberg has not been that great at the AHL level either, but no telling how much of that was because of his disappointment with the Hawks. |

nah lets talk about something really entertaining: like how the cubs pitching staff has forgotten how to pitch...somehow only 2 runs for the brewcrew into the 5th |

That, plus they are missing a ton of off-side calls on Nashville. |
