He insists on that long, slow, deliberate wind up and slapshot that allows the defenders to get into the shooting lane. He seldom uses a snap or wrist shot to get the puck quickly to the net as soon as he gets it.

Easy to take liberties when the league has your back. Preds know they will get all the calls, so they can trip and interfere without the fear of getting called.

The Hawks haven't been blitzed this badly in a while. Can't handle the Nashville forecheck and gagging up the puck all game long so far. If not for Ward this would easily by 5-2. I really don't care if they win the game but I didn't want to see this kind of piss-poor performance in the final game of the season. Grow a pair boys and up the compete level several notches ... would ya?

Very few Hawk players can win a puck battle. If they can't defend they can't stop the pressure.

Where are all the stars paid half of total team salary, 19,88,2,7 and 20? They did not look impressive or noticeable except for Toews penalty of course.

The Preds are outplaying the Hawks. The refs have nothing to do with that. In fact I'm surprised the Hawks haven't been whistled for more penalties which is usually what happens when they get running around in the d-zone the way Nashville is dominating them tonight.

It's all the puck mismanagement. Keith was guilty of at least 4 turnovers and Adb about 2 in our own zone. Rinne is weak, just stay on him.
