Strong words for a guywho was asking a scouting report from K-man 25 earlier today
- VANTEL

I asked a guy who actually goes to games too see these guys play, for an opinion.
If I recall correctly, last season you had said you don't read Canucks Army, this season Biech has been your go to draft guru.
Biech is great for CBA stuff, his draft stuff, not so much.

No, he makes a living from giving an opinion on prospects, big difference.

Tell you what , you keep going to Kman for advice I will stick with Cam Robinson and Ryan Biech.

I don't want to get into pages on here for the sake of others but I am not impressed with his effort or compete level. You can see his skill when he has the puck but he would not be on my list for drafting.

All fair points. I want the highest ceiling available and if Dach is somehow available at 9 that’s likely him (excluding Caufield)

I’m predicting Podkolzin likely slips a bit in the rankings. Dach will for sure. Risers are Soderstrom Seider Tomasino.

To be truthful the kind of players Benning and crew have been drafting the last two years with speed and skill I would be very surprised to see Dach on Canucks radar.

Yup, you keep on relying On Biech, who has stated that any pick 5th round or later, should be the highest point getter available in the CHL and I will continue too ask anyone who gets to watch players live, their personal opinion.

And when Kman makes his first 1.50 for giving his scouting report I will jump right on board with you.

Does that mean you want the Canucks to draft Podkolzin if they get the chance?

So, asking someone a personal opinion, about 2 defensemen, that someone watches fairly regularly, is considered getting a scouting report from someone.
Guess it is sort of like your opinion of watching a player for a 2nd period of today's game and forming my opinion from that...ok.

I actually don’t see the “high ceiling” that a lot of scouts see with him. I’m puzzled by him. To be honest, I just hope he is gone by 9

When we signed Rafferty the other day and people were asking frantically what does anyone know about this guy , the only person to give a description of him in minutes was Ryan Biech

Biech watches hockey every day and studies it . Kman may go to what 4 games a year to see players?

I seen his style finally and was not impressed with a lot of things about his game. I have been watching hockey for over 50 years and I don't need to see them play 15 games to decide if their is parts of their games That I don't like. I don't know why this has to be an issue . If you like him, fine like him. I don't want to draft him with our first pick .

He hasnt produced but I think the tools are there. I certainly don't want him but mostly because of the risk.

You are aware that Dhaliwal and Pass it to Bulls had reported in February 2018 that Bragan Rafferty was on the Canucks radar, that was over a season ago

You give this guy way too much credit.

When people give me correct info I give them credit.

BTW I do give credit to Rick D all the time. Daniel Wagner and I have gotten into many debates (arguments )about some of his reporting and articles.
