When we signed Rafferty the other day and people were asking frantically what does anyone know about this guy , the only person to give a description of him in minutes was Ryan Biech
Biech watches hockey every day and studies it . Kman may go to what 4 games a year to see players?
I seen his style finally and was not impressed with a lot of things about his game. I have been watching hockey for over 50 years and I don't need to see them play 15 games to decide if their is parts of their games That I don't like. I don't know why this has to be an issue . If you like him, fine like him. I don't want to draft him with our first pick . - VANTEL
You have to ask yourself whether he was playing with anyone capable of collaboration on his cerebral level. He wasn’t. Not even close. He is BY FAR the best player on that team. At 17. In a road playoff game. With the opposition’s entire game plan revolving around hitting him, getting in his head, and taking away any chance of him putting the team on his back.
When a prospect isn’t in a position to showcase his vision/playmaking ability on every shift because his linemates can’t comprehend that game, you have to scout between the lines. The most troubling thing I saw from him tonight was that he seemed defeated once things got frustrating... Looking forward to seeing how he does against these guys at home. Hope he goes beast mode. |

As I said when he had the puck he was skilled . When he didn't he was floating. Goldobin plays that style and he may be gone very soon.
On the third goal he was standing in no mans land standing straight up doing nothing. He was not strong on the puck against a few smaller guys. As I said to Rubie you guys can keep him high on your list but I was not impressed at all.

Looked defeated could be my hang up on him. Let’s see how he rebounds. Still up to him to force his will.

I’m fine with either Boldy Zegras Turcotte.
If it’s D then Soderstrom or Seider.
Of course a top 3 is great if we luck out.
Other than Byram i’m not sold on the Dub has a great draft class.
Toss Buffalo a trade...
They need good vets for stability.
Sven Sutter Tanev come to mind. |

He was on the PK standing where he’s supposed to stand while a goal was scored on the doorstep in front of 2 Dmen |

I am not going to try to convince you he did a lot of floating . As I said you have him top 10 I don't . |

We’re drafting too high to take D... Soderstrom at 9 has to be a joke. Where’s the upside? |

Fox is going to probably be a Ranger or Bruin hes waiting until he can sign with his desired team. He didnt like Calgary or Carolina so what would make anyone think he wants to be here ? |

He would have gotten opportunity with his talent level at Calgary or Carolina. I think its where hes from that will highly influence where he signs. New York kid so maybe Rangers is his preferred destination. Might be somewhere else on the east coast but if it was the case i would think Carolina might have had a better shot at signing him. |

Sometimes location does play into it .Maybe he grew up a Rangers fan ? He obviously is being very selective and his ELC means its not a money issue

1st off TBL has to win the cup to be a 1st.
Secondly both picks too late in the 1st.
player for a 1st is cool |
