I would sign Schenn to a one year deal and let him and Tanev fill out the year playing with HUGHES. Move Tanev for whatever at TDL

Sutter can play 4 th line with Beagle and Roussel. When Sutter is injured replace his time off with Granlund

Buy out Baertschi 1.5 1.8 850K 850k

Send Loui to Utica

- VANTEL

This isn’t half bad of a plan
Schenn has been good for you guys in the role you wanted EG to play
I don’t think you want granny playing centre though ...give AG a shot if needed

Didn’t you hear ...Loui is rejuvenated

Barcelona gets you very close to some amazing wine regions. Priorat to the Southwest. Rioja to the northwest. Some smaller areas with less cache (and prices) Navarra, Somontano, Montsant.

If you are driving from Portugal, north of Madrid there are a pair of wine regions for red/white - Toro and Rueda. Along the Duero River.

The wine regions in the center of the country are more pedestrian, low cost, bang for your buck type.

I’m sure you’ll have a blast. If you know what part of the country you will be in PM me and I can recommend some wineries to hit up.

You know your wine! Cheers and will do

Gretzky not being able to coach should go to show you that being a hof player means jack poop when it comes to coaching lol

The best players often have a tough time coaching because for them the ideas seem second nature, and they have no idea how to explain it to someone else. “Just do it like I do/did”

Not a wine region recommendation, but it you’re heading to northern Spain, please please go to San Sebastián. I’m really not a fan of Spain in general, but San Sebastián is one of my top five cities in Europe. Beautiful, small, super lovely beach town with the warmest atmosphere. Also, by capita, it has the most Michelin Star restaurants in the world, so it’s definitely a foody city. Anthony Bourdain has an apisode on it if you want to check it out!

I’ve heard San Sebastián is amazing! Om my list for sure. Cheers!

I’m looking at the 1st trade JB makes to be the domino. Your guess is as good as mine but something has to give. Core players could be moved. None of EP Hughes Boeser or Bo. The way we are built many options are there...
- Nighthawk

Outside the four you name there are no “core players”

Pretty good going out town — if I remember correctly you’re lower 30s? There are two beaches there on either side of the old town: one for swimming and relaxing, the other for surfing. So best of both worlds there too. How long you going for?

While I don’t think WD is a good coach ...he hasn’t exactly been given the best of rosters to work with

And, it was a chance to work in the NHL again, even though he knew it was not for longer than this season. How many people here could say the same...

Other teams aren’t needing often injured players you don’t want lol

Sven isn’t worth a 7th rounder with his injury history
Sutter is a good role or depth guy but you can find those in free agency
Tanev has some value but it’s no where near what you’d like it to be with his constant injuries

- Redmile247

pretty much it.

All players say the same thing about him, he plays hardworkers more than skilled players. He always put the wrong players in a position to succeed here. They failed him time and time again, but he kept doing it.

On the topic of Panarin. Although I agree it is not the right time to sign him, I think we are similar to the 2008 hawks right now. We have a good growing team and will need that player to set us over the top. The next off season they signed Hossa to a stupid contract(which was big money at the time when cap considered) and the next season they won the cup after that. I'm not saying we will win the cup, but Panarin could add to us what Hossa did to Chicago, and there may not be a player of the Calibre in the next 2 off seasons. If he is willing to come here, I think we have to try. He could be the difference between being a bubble team that doesn't make the playoffs, and one that does. We won't need another high draft after this one, we need to start winning so the kids get a taste of it.

Almost a forgone conclusion Panarin and Bobrovsky sign in Florida, just my opinion.

I think they both sign there too. Florida has the cap and tax incentives to sign both (especially if Lu goes to LTIR) — plus they’re going to a good team and will put them into a tier just below contender.

Probably, but that doesn't mean JB shouldn't see where Panarin is at. We definitely need 1-2 upgrades in the top 6 and one in the top 4.

Sounds awesome! I’m mid 30’s. Probably 8 days in Portugal and 8 days in Spain. Sadly that’s all the time I have as I’m always in the desert these days.

Honestly I think that is the reason linden was canned.

Nice, same ageish. Portugal is fantastic, liked it much more than Spain. Heard it’s become more touristy in the past 10 years, but all the people were way nicer and the food was better IMO.

Enjoy the trip!

He wasn't all bad. Acquired a horrible LA roster and expected to work wonders plus his last two seasons in Van the rosters were being dismantled.
Plus his Team Canada roster had zero NHL'ers lol...

Haven't seen Green take this club to a 100 pt season yet...

That is a team in trouble.
They have a 3rd and a 7th pick this year, no 2nd or 3rd next season, not much in the way of prospects and some free agents that will be very costly to re-sign.
On the positive side for them, they do have 30 million on capspace.

I believe there are coaches that will get the most out of certain players whether it be young players or hard working players or skilled players...I don’t think the same coach that leads a bunch of grinders to a playoff spot would be good with a bunch of stars and vice versa

Rasmus Dahlin is the rookie of the year..no question. Pettersson is brittle.
