i don't think anyone is more lost when he doesn't have the puck on his stick, than what Goldy is. When he has the puck, hes not half bad at all, but without it, the guy is useless.

It’s easy to work on puck skills, hit the gym, get quicker on your skates over the summer... how the hell is he going to get smarter without the puck? I mean, I guess he could watch tape and practice, but is there a legit defensive forward coach to work with to show him things?

that's probably just an every-day part of development is it not? I imagine it's something that the coach tries to instill in all of his players every shift, or where players should be when defending? I don't think its something you can't teach, I think its more-so Goldobin digging in and figuring it out and willing himself to be a two-way responsible player.

I'm not sure. If the Flames do win, they have a good chance as I think on paper Calgary is the better team.

Imo I can't see Dallas winning over a 7 game series, Nashville is too deep at every position and I think even if Dallas won the first 2 games the Preds would win out

Play him with compatible linemates at all times & he’d suddenly seem much improved away from the puck. It’s about being on the same page with your linemates. If you’re on different frequencies, it’ll look much uglier than it should. Goldobin will NEVER mesh with players who lack creativity & an understanding for unstructured puck possession.

For me it depends on the goal tending Calgary gets and if Calgary can shut down Colorado's top line, because after that Colorado doesn't have as much depth IMO

I think Colorado's depth is weak enough that Calgary can overwhelm them, Calgarys goaltending will be exposed in the 2nd round
