Botch is 50/50 to me, no doubt he BS’s for clicks but when Gillis himself said that Botch gets scoops then I’ll believe a former GM of the Canucks over the posters in here when it comes to validating Botch.

I don’t get it. Why is the president trophy so insignificant in the NHL? In other major sports like BPL, it’s a big (frank)ing deal being the best team in the league.

The NHL hasn’t done a great job promoting their other achievement trophies other than the Cup itself.

Well I agree but keep in mind that Aquilini is steering the bus. He wants playoffs next season. If it’s 3 years and a NMC or he walks.”? Aquilini will likely instruct him to sign the deal. Probably best of benning is fired and the next manager can and will stand up to Aquilini

I thought the next 3 years were critical for setting up the team to be truly competitive. How can that be if you’re knowingly setting the team up for inconsistency with their D core pairings?

Edler’s been a warrior for this team but like all of the old guard, it’s time to say goodbye.
