He definitely wasn't. Myers didn't pan out as a 1D and the center position sucked. But Darcy wasn't ready to blow up the core yet, so Lindy was fired to try to shake up the stagnation. I don't think the fans blamed him. But after 17 years and declining results, a change wasn't a terrible idea, either

Whats funny about this to me is that it reminded me of a quick story.

I was at the Erie County Fair with some family members and my nephew and I were on a beer run, he was 24 at the time. He had on the black/red satanic goat hat and a guy about his age came up and said "great hat...man I wish theyd go back to that look"

That age group identifies with the team in those colors. Weird how differently people can see things.
