This is incorrect. Changes dont need to be made. Just little tweaks. They need to add a player or two and I would agree they need a Vet Dman. The rest of the roster is fine. It comes down to adapting. Teams know how to counter the Flyers play. It is up to the coaches to alter their system. PP is the biggest system overhaul needed.

It would be interesting to see what Ghost is worth on the market. On one hand he just had a down year but on the other his cap hit and contract length still justify even his down play and this could be an anomaly.

Getting a #2 Vet D is not going to be easy in my opinion. I like the blog above this one that outlines some options.

Couldn't disagree more. This approach got Hextall fired with cause. There is no evidence or reason to think a minor tweak will have any more impact then last years minor tweak (signing JVR). The roster is not fine. They have shown no ability to adapt or change in order to get the most out of what is a talented roster. Can't keep blaming coaching....the Players are the problem.
This team is just as inconsistent, soft and underachieving as they were 3 years ago. They haven't gotten better...they've regressed.

Id look at Drew Doughty, i think he would be a great add to the blue line to mentor Provy, Sanheim, and Myers. Along with Gudas, adding another bottom 4 pairing defender like a Jordie Benn or an Anton Stralman type would really balance out the defense well. and also wouldn't break the bank.

I don't think Fletcher would come out and say Gordon is the coach without really taking a look at all the options.

I would say you’re very wrong, changes need to be made. Tweaking or dinking your way around the edges gets you more of the same. This team needs changes.
