I almost don't WANT to win the lottery.
I realize it's beneficial for the Sabres, but damn if it's not embarrassing to be in this situation AGAIN. - gcomella34
(frank) that. Jack Hughes for the win.

I'm Keto at least my wife informed me I am.
I can't have cherries. Though poop on the other hand we've all been spoon fed for 8 years. - gcomella34
You can't have fruit on keto? I almost did it. However, I'm doing v limited alcohol, carbs, no sugar.. and I'm not really doing any bust meals. Seems to be working, but it's a little slower than keto/whole30/paleo. |

I think that's correct.
Everyone keeps linking the Jones to the Giants with the CLE pick. Worrisome.

I'm thinking of the cherries drown in the sugary sauce.
Ya know....

THIS will be THE pick that turns us around.
If I had a dollar each time I heard that.
Certainly won't hurt though. |

Agreed, if he is available when they select except in top 2, I run to the podium like a man with the Hersey Squirts who just took 2 laxatives 30 minutes ago heading off to the mens room - IonSabres
you're that excited about Podkolzin eh? Ya know, Kucherov absolutely torched the MHL prior to his draft at 58th OA. |

Really, any of them are.
Any "diet" needs to be a lifestyle or they don't work. |

hence why I'm doing it the way I'm doing it. It's sustainable, and I can go by an 80-20 rule.. 20% of meals can bust. |

Bottom line. It ups the cheap talent on the team while Botts can focus on obtaining bottom 6 scoring and purging the defense. Do you depend on an 18 year old to be the 2C? It worked for Eichel, can it work for Hughes? I don't think Hughes has the physical strength like Eichel did. |

if we win the lottery and hire McLellan, we will officially have become Edmonton East.

Sabres most likely draft position in order of probability:
1- 6th
2- 7th
3- 3rd
4- 2nd
5- 1st
6- 5th
7- 8th

If Buffalo is picking between say 3-6 and either NYR or Anaheim is picking somewhere between say 7-10 would Buffalo consider trading back and picking up an additional 1st (those teams have 2 1sts as well as LA)? Or, if Buffalo drops to 6 or 7 do you try to trade back up to 3-5? |

They are for everyone near the top. Even Ottawa (Colorado) has over 50% chance of dropping from first to fourth. |

It is the uncertainty, the Russian factor, and being tied up for 2 years.
Sabres are not in a position to gamble....leave that for another team who can |

I'd rather not take the chance on counting on a young player to step up as a second line center.
Even if he can, it wouldn't hurt to ease him in. |
