Even then I wouldn't pick Seider there. - manvanfan
I like him more than the other Dmen but he's a ballsy pick in the bottom half I'll agree.
Lots of good forwards availible at 10, can't see them drafting for need again.

For the 2nd year in a row I didn't watch. F it. Same old story.
Chicago moving up typical. But I can stomach 3rd.
What gets me is the NHL changed their lottery format to 3 draws. Instead of 1OA, they pull for top 3. When did they make this change? The year after Canucks took Boeser. The year the Canucks began their downfall to the bottom of the league.
Canuck luck. |

If Zegras is still on the board when we pick & I see Benning on the draft floor doing anything other than sprinting to he podium, I will RKO his ass from the upper deck. - DrChristianTroy
If any quality forward is there when he picks, he has to take them over a defenseman.
I honestly don't see any of Zegras, Boldy Dach Cozens or Turcotte available when he picks. |

Doesn'take 60 minutes for them to tell us that Rangers Blackhawks and Red Wings will pick 1 2 and 3. - Reubenkincade

not sure about that, someone always goes off the board, pretty sure it will happen again. |

Canada needs to copy the NTDP paradigm. Have your best talents developing together & building chemistry for future Olympic teams. Guys like Dach & Krebs would look so much better playing with each other rather than the scrubs they’re stuck with on their respective junior teams. - DrChristianTroy
I meant to post this article when this came up earlier.
The nhl supports all other feeder leagues much better than they do with the CHL.
They also financially support USA hockey, wonder how they are getting better at developing their players.
https://www.google.com/am...ent-transfer-fees/sn-amp/
Also Canada has 7 teams of 31, less than 25%, yet generate over 50% of league revenues.

Krebs & Boldy went 8 & 9. I think the channel is called NHL Draft Central - the host sounds like a young French CDN Borat. Better than most of what I’ve found on there... |

Ya, he does some fairly in-depth prospect reports. Does a fairly decent job. |

I think that kid is now with Future Considerations. He's not bad actually. |

I hope Borat is right and Zegras is available when we pick.
I watched him a few times and thought it was a Brad Marchand clone.❤ |

I like his videos but generally I forget he is talking and just watch. He ranks everyone a 4 or 5 though. He's too kind. |

I think you might be confusing him with someone else 🤔
It’d be kinda like if we cloned EP & played him on a line with himself. Or had 2 lines Centered by EP. PP1 with EP, Zegras & Q.Hughes would be (frank)ing bananas to watch 🤯 |

To clarify, I’m saying EP’s an absolute ceiling comp for a stylistically similar prospect in Zegras. I’d love to get him - always assumed he’d be long gone, but it seems 3-10 is actually going to be an unpredictable cluster(frank). |
