I only enjoy it when it concerns certain individuals.

2018.. hmm... I'd have to say Hereditary and Sicario 2 were up there for me.
- TheMussel

Good call on Hereditary. Loved that one too. Have Sicario 2 on the PVR. GF doesn't want to watch it, so I have to wait for alone time.

Queen is OK, some of their poop is pretty weak.

But if you liked that movie because you like Queen then does it make it a good movie?

I just didn't like the movie.

- TheMussel

Im a fan of Queen which is why i enjoyed the movie. It had a great performance by one actor.
But, yes, i dont believe it was movie of year.

It was fine. Mediocre movie propped up by a fantastic performance. I really liked The Favourite. It was my favourite (hurhurhur) movie of the year.
- AdamFrench

One of the funniest gags in the history of film is when Frank Dreben is at the Academy Awards in The Naked Gun 33 1/3.

They keep describing the films nominated, and each one is more PC than the next:

"The nominees for Best Supporting Actress are:

Mary Lou Retton, "Fatal Affair",

one woman's ordeal to overcome the death of her cat,

set against the background of the Hindenburg disaster.

Morgan Fairchild, "Final Proposal",

one courageous pioneer woman's triumphant victory over bulimia,

set against the background of the Donner Party Crossing.

Shannen Doherty, "Basic Analysis",

one woman's triumph over a yeast infection,

set against the background of the tragic Buffalo Bill season of...

I fully belive Tampa is going to win.

But I must say, seeing Bolt91's potential meltdown if Columbus wins it makes me root for the Blue Jackets all day.

- Scabeh

I just like CBJ’s chances.

They are playing with zero pressure, just go out and play in a series no one is expecting you to win.

But at the same time they have a great team. Much better than where they landed in the final standings.

If Bob can play like Bob then this series is CBJ’s.

The Favourite is worth your time.

BH was a bit meh. I enjoyed it but felt they watered it down to cater to an American/puritanical audience.

Yeah the ending was kind of dumb.

I guess if we're talking about movies, it's worth mentioning that I watch them for entertainment (comedy, violence, and plottwists) but any kind of artistic expression through film is most often lost on me. My milieu is more music.
