Except at the end when tavares scored the empty netter and Hughson said

"and that's it!....... or is it?" with the Leafs having a 3 goal lead and a minute and 20 seconds to play

- TheMussel

What a (frank)ing clown Hughson is.

I just watched the Star wars trailer

they get me every time..just when I think to myself, I am not going to care as much about this one

- senstroll

Wow. It's called (frank)ing Rise of Skywalker. JJ Abrams must have been really (frank)ing pissed that Rian Johnson "subverted" all of his threads from the first one.

That show rips the Leafs horribly all the time. John Shannon called Rielly a #3 D on a good team around Christmas. LOL

I'll let a bigger nerd explain. Lots of retconning to do, unless this is the rise of Leia.

I don't (frank)ing get it anymore.

What a mess that last trilogy has become.

Geeze. That was the nightmare I remember growing up.

So you know how in The Game Ken Dryden writes that the Habs saved hockey by defeating the Flyers?

He’s right.

The Flyers won two Stanley Cups in a row, and sent 3 guys to the HHOF: Clarke, Parent and Barber. Barber is barely a HHOFer.

Take a look at that Habs lineup. How many HHOFers?

If I was a Flyers fan, I would have loved those teams.

But FFS, it really was the nadir of hockey.

I thought the title of the next movie was:

The impact of that game 1 is through the roof!!!!
- Scabeh

Not to be mr stats guy here but history proves teams who win the first game usually win the series...hence why their chances have gone up.

So here’s two stats I would like to see:

1) winning percentage of teams who win the first game of series

2) winning percentage of teams who win the first game of series - an away game

70% of teams who win the first game win the series.

I don’t think the 2nd stat matters imo. The bottom seed always is away in game 1. Which skews the stats. Given the bottom seed is normally the favourite...at least in 1stvs8th and 2ndvs 7th.

2) 81.1%

Marchment also said he wants to really impress in training camp to make the team.. it'll be fun to see

glad we still have depth battles!

edit: Marchment is obviously a type of player that Babcock loves so it could be tough not having him on the 4th

- Delryk

I wish Marchment could stay healthy.

Says the Star Wars nerd who would defend any Star Wars product to the death, including the Holiday Special.

But I get it: Bea Arthur was hot.
