meh..this stuff is getting quieter and will fade away...you still have the ones who listen to Bob Mccowan and eat up his horrible grumpy old man takes.

Or John (frank)ing Shannon who has a list so long of awful opinions you couldnt track them all on the internet there isnt enough space

- senstroll

I like when him and Shannon argue. 2 very old rich white guys female doging.

Or how Boston gave Backes (a healthy scratch last night) $6M
- PatC80

But oh my god a 22 year-old top 10 pick who's never had less than 61 points in a full year got 6.9 milion. SHOCKING!!!!

I watched an archive of the game when I got home from work last night, and I love how they showed up to play. The Booins aren't big and scary any more!
- TrashPanda

these aren't the bruins with chara as a top player, lucic, horton, mcquaid etc.

outside of that top line they can be had. key will be keeping that top line from scoring on the pp.

He's not paid like a 1st line elite player FYI.

And he's played on the 1st line and never had less than 61 points in a full year.

His shooting % is unsustainably low.

- RogerRoeper

Leafs played 82 games this season.
Nylander had 27 points.

and as for his shooting % - it's quite normal he's got such a low shooting percentage; he's basically giving up pucks by throwing them on the net from low percentage area, very far away from goal. he is allergic to go to the high danger areas, afraid he might get hit. now feeding off of matthews is not possible that much anymore, it's clear he is not as good as leafs fans hoped for.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it:

The 1976-77 Habs just weren't that good.

I mean, look at the roster:

Lafleur
Shutt
Robinson
Lapointe
Lemaire
Mahovlich
Risebrough
Cournoyer
Lambert
Tremblay
Savard
Jarvis
Gainey
Dryden

I mean seriously, I've never even heard of half these guys.

I've been watching hockey for over a year and I've never even heard of any of these guys.

I agree we can't take too many penalties, we'll get burned on at least half on them.

IMO, 5 on 5, the Tavares line was better than the Bergeron line.. We can win the series if we don't take a lot of penalties.

You still watch hockey?

You are wasting your time.

Just look at the advanced stats.

They had some crazy stat last night about the last time the Leafs took a series lead - it was in 2003 or something.

Just curious: has there been any kind of explanation of why the game tomorrow night is at 8 pm?

How is it "Normal" when it's less than 50% his career average (And that's a much larger sample size).

Trading this guy for some average D would be a horrible mistake.

8PM actually works. By the time I finish what I need to do during the day (sleep), find a pizza joint and rifle through its dumpster for half eaten slices, then take them to your house where I will perch outside of your window to watch your TV the game will just be ready to start!

I'm still trying to figure out how Forbes valued the Raptors higher than the Leafs (EK's blog)

BTW, Darren Dreger started his morning bit today talking about what else, offersheets!

What a douche. Does he realize what a corner he's painting himself into?

Tavares is doing what I was hoping he would do. Step up and take care of his poop defensively. He can absolutely cancel out Bergeron 5 on 5 and did last night.

I'm shocked Craig Button is so high on the leafs. No other media person was or is.
