I’m not sure of the fit there. As much as I defend AV and that people confidently forget Skeji, Zbad, Krieder, and Miller all excelled under him as players in their early 20s, im not sure he’s the guy you want bringing up a whole group of young players. They might have to win with Giroux and the other vets really fast for it to work. |

UPDATE: The #Oilers medical staff, in collaboration with top orthopedic specialists, have determined a rehabilitation protocol for Connor McDavid, which will begin immediately.
I know the NHLPA wouldn’t like it, but if I was Edmonton, I’d secretly hope he needs surgery to keep him on the shelf next season. If anything not only to tank, but to shed another year of those albatross contracts.

If they don't win the cup, it's good for us if they lose in the first round, right? Makes that second round pick higher? |

in 3 games with Wolfpack, Jake Elmer has 2 goals and 2 assists
might have a player there - jimbro83
I was reading an article last night for top ranked college players. They had Morgan Barron at 18 and Fox at 34.
Elmer isn’t a college guy but might have another good pick in Barron. |

I’m not gonna be excited for that 2nd rd pick lol. The first I would be. But the peg is down 2-0 also, that pick looks like it could be pretty good in the high teens/low 20s |

Ya, I’ll see if I can find the article again and post it. These were before the season started, but Fox had the same hype last year. I like the kid, just not sure he’s a lock as a top 4 dman.

It's just players to watch...I don't think they are totally being ranked on potential |

Kucherov was picked in the second
It’ll suck it’s not a first, but if it’s going to be a second I want it as high as possible. |

They should have a review system like college football for major penalities. That was a horrible call |

That was a (frank)ing travesty. How does it come to that conclusion. Do they not look at video? |

I just don't see how if you need to discuss it, and it could have such a profound impact on the outcome, that you can't go to video. They lost a guy for the night and were handed a 5 minute major. It could sink their whole season. |

Yeah, maybe they can just do it in the playoffs or something next year. I'm usually against more replay, and really just want it for a puck crossing a goal line, but to lose a player for a game and screw up lines and also have to kill 5 minutes of PP, its really screwing the team .
If anything drop the stupid offside replay and review majors. |

That elbow had more intent than the match penalty. |
