Myers - Powerslave
I knew someone would say it. It's spelled Meyers, dude
Myers actually wasn't that bad. Coburn was better at actual defense though. |

"We have skill," Botterill told Friedman.
Opinions vary
Just hire AV and get it done with |

hmmm...
I've warmed to mclellan...
that said, I want either him or Vigneault or whomever comes in, to be able to adapt his system to the players on hand...that's why I think bringing in a veteran coach is pretty important imo |

One of McLellan, AV or Crawford please. No more experiments - see Phil Housley, Ron Rolson for reference. |

I listened to NHL radio on Wednesday and one of the hosts (idk who) said he listened to Buffalo radio and couldn't believe we're not excited about the possibility of McClellan. I'm still not clear on why we should be excited at the possibility |

The qualities that he has along with his coaching record is something to at the very least be optimistic about. We heard the qualities Botterill wants. If McLellan is in the mix, he clearly has those qualities. Isn't that what this message board wanted? He named all of the qualities we ask for. |

Nothing here and nothing from the prior articles written on him prove to me he'll be successful. I'm jaded by Housley, but I'm also a realist. There's no evidence he will OR won't be successful |

"It’s going to take some outside-the-box thinking. Someone willing to look past what Grönborg doesn’t have—such as work experience in any North American pro league—while placing value on what he does have, which is a whole lot of time spent with top NHL players in the heat of international competition.
He needs a GM who is looking to do more than copy the latest trends." |

“You’d rotate four lines until there was 10 minutes left and then go down to three lines and then you go down to two lines the last two minutes. …In Sweden, it was very common to have four very even lines.”
Grönborg instead prefers to carve out specific roles and assign tasks. He is keen on communication so that expectations are clear and believes that the next generation of players will require more feedback than ever before because of the world in which they were raised.
“There’s so many X’s and O’s out there—I think most coaches coaching at that level, they know their X’s and O’s—but how do you get the players to grow in your environment?” he said. “Because that’s the biggest key for me. How do you communicate with those players? How did you get them to excel and become better and buy into the system? That’s what I’m intrigued about, is how you develop the players.” |

High risk, high reward. As expected.
Tell me though. If it was your ass on the line, and you've already struck out with one rookie coach, would you hire another? |
