Leafs were winning for most of the game last time, so he couldn’t troll. Let him have this.
- Steven_Seagull

This was my thought. If the Leafs were winning, he'd be mostly silent tonight.

WTF.

He absolutely sucked last year playoffs and can't hit the (frank)ing net again so far this year...

But it's all OK because he had a good playoff is his rookie year.

When are people going to stop making excuses for his underperforming ass.

- Aetherial

The point is, this myth that he can't step up in the playoffs is just that... A myth.
He did it his very first year. He had a bad playoffs last year, but he's capable of stepping up. He's only played 1 and 1/3 games this playoffs. Hopefully he steps up again this year.

He hasn't been impressive so far, but he is capable.

Maybe Babs should stop using Muzzin and Zaits as the shutdown pairing... I'd rather have Reilly and Hainsey out when the Bruins top line is out.

He was good in Game 1. Rask made a couple of nice saves on him.

Remember that time that Hyman got suspended 2 games for delivering a late hit that was earlier than 75% of the hits the Bruins are delivering tonight?

Leafs need to press the pace, pressure harder. Boston seems to be hitting less and slowing down some again

There is no way they can play an entire game at that pace.

So far nothing is working. Leafs keeps falling and flubbing the puck.

Marner isn't even noticeable

Good Lord.

Was I wrong about the Pastrnak hit?
Am I imagining Matthews lack of production?

Sorry truth hurts.

Maybe you can tell us all how much Matthews is out-corsying everyone.

That’s because the play an antiquated form of the game, and if anybody sticks to a fast and organized attack they are done. The game is getting faster and faster, soon the B’s will be irrelevant. Some decent reffing and they would really have no game.
