And this is what I don't understand.
Here's an honest question. Why are some people so against adding some toughness to this lineup? I'm not talking Orr, Clune or John Scott. Talking players who can play a regular shift as well. Why are some people so apprehensive of adding that to an already skilled lineup? - walshyleafsfan

I don't think anyone is. It's just it's usually a poopty player people want. They overvalue most players because of it |

Is anyone? People are against taking away skill in order to add toughness. Noone that I know of has a problem with keeping the same amount of skill, while also adding toughness, thus why most were pleased with getting Muzzin. |

Because they’re idiots. See CBJ/TBL series. Toronto needs a Simmonds, Anderson, or Jenner type. |

Sweet. A call the refs can't easily ignore.
They'll find a cheap call to use to penalize the Leafs shortly after this pp though. |

Holy bouncing pucks. If they could only settle it down.
They've been physical enough for the most part they just need to convert.
Andersen has been great. Wicked hit by Muffin |

Puck is bouncing all over the place, all three Bruin goals off bad bounces. Bad puck luck.
Need a push back here. |

The ice looks pretty bad.
Or just both teams can’t handle the puck |

Sure it will cost you. They're high in demand for a reason. It's because no other organization or fans think 'Moar Grit' when talking about someone who can handle the pressure of someone skating towards you at pace. A good 75% of people on this board just don't want to add any toughness and honestly I ain't sure why.
Disclaimer: I'm in no way saying the series is over and the Leafs should trade everybody for picks and rebuild. I just don't get why some discount anything that doesn't show up on a Corsi report |

Just wow....
I’ve been playing and watching hockey for over 40 years. And this is literally in the top 3 worst refereed games I have watched, ever. I get it, game get rough post season, but the rules don’t actually change man. |
