Honestly, our power play is so poopty these days, it doesn't help much.
It would've been much better if this came at the start of the game and maybe forced Boston to play a cleaner game. |

C'mon. They have to fight through it. We've known how it's gonna go since 2013.
So what do you do? Play a nice squeaky game while the opposition mauls you?
Or maybe leave some bruises for games 3,4,5,6 and 7?

At this point, we've already lost, so I agree. Run them into the ground. But they didn't come out focused on the game from the start and it showed. The Leafs did the right thing by not pushing back in the first, but the refs (frank)ed up royally by not doing what they're literally paid to do and call the game. And it sunk them. |
