Yeah I dunno boys. As great as Nazem is when he's on his game, good god he should be mature enough to avoid these things. This stuff shouldn't be happening. The timing too is just always so bad.

What we know so far:

- Kudos to Andersen for being our best player and putting to rest wonders of whether he's cut-out for playoff hockey. He's seriously surprised me. He looks like he did in December.

- Tonight was real playoff hockey. Thursday felt like a saturday night game in early March.

- Kadri is a net liability. As important as his tenacity and emotion is he's not emotionally-stable enough to avoid putting his team into a hole.

- Nylander should quit hockey and start his own butter company that stays table-soft no matter the temperature.

- Matthew has been pretty invisible. I won't pin everything on him because it's not like he's been in anyway 'bad'. It's just that I don't really notice him out there.

- Guys like Brown and Hyman are what you need to make it in the playoffs. The tenacity is appreciated.

- We knew the Bruins needed this game more than we did. They were gonna be hungry, and now we have ourselves a series. How we respond on Monday is gonna speak volumes about this team's character

If Kadri gets suspended I don't think it's more than one.

I think the series will calm down a little bit after this. Krug is probably done for the series, he was wobbly after that collision. Clifton is out. Do the Bruins really want a war of attrition? They'll have no one left.

Andersen looking great, no team support tonight, but if he can keep it up I still like the Leafs' chances.

Going to say 3 again, maybe 4
- Aetherial

Realistically after looking at the play again he probably wont get any games. It really wasn’t that bad.

This poop happens for the exact same reason as last year..
Because Boston gets away with whatever they want all night long. Sooner or later the players are going to take matters into their own hands.

- Aetherial

Stupid retaliation by Kadri and excellent faking by Debrusk. The kneeing penalty missed earlier will not get a suspension but Kadri is gone for one or two games because of the soccer type faking by Debrusk.

Idk man, there’s fighting back and there’s being stupid.

They had a chance at coming back and Naz decided to do something stupid after a clean hit. He’s got some issues and he’s just got to try and keep the stupidness out of his game.

- Santo_44

Oh Naz absolutely did something stupid. Always does. But if I was one of the 3 or 4 players that don't poop their pants everytime the Bruins play physical, I'd be absolutely pissed with the rest of my teammates.

Honestly, that was Kadri and Hyman taking on all the Bruins all night long. Trying (in vain) to show that this team won't roll over and die.

Get him some proper linemates, and he'll do fine.
Kapanen and Johnsson aren't up yet for such a big role.

Matthews needs another Hyman on his line.

Anyways. If you asked me if I would take 1-1 going back to Toronto before the series started.. I'd have taken it.

Forget this one. Fix some poop and come back

Well the Bruins couldn’t handle the Leafs speed game 1.

They made adjustments.

Now the Leafs couldn’t handle the Bruins physicality in game 2.

Time for them to make adjustments.

It has really become quite worrisome how 34 just disappears in the post season. It's become his MO. Three years in a row the kid just vanishes. I personally think hes scared. The playoffs are a mans game and year after year he ends up nailed to the bench. Babs sees the fear in his eyes and just wont risk putting him out there

- Santo_44

kadri has to get at least 1 if not more since they just took out the Hart trophy winner in name if not title... leading scorer Art Ross winner...

how'll it look to john q public if Kadri gets nothing for a crosscheck to the FACE of a guy who didn't play another shift in the game... (smart move by the Broons btw)

When Chara can crosscheck Marner in the head and its a good defensive play - we know how the game will be called.

League is cracking down on headshots especially with repeat offenders. No clue how the league will see it.

I thought Kadri was the best player on the ice. Debrusk was huge for the Bruins. Some other Leafs might borrow a bit of heart from Kadri. You know he cares. I think a few guys mailed it in tonight.

If they had called the attempt on his leg, it wouldn't have even been a thing. That was one of the most pathetically reffed games I've ever watched, and that is the kind of poop that happens when the ref puts the whistle away every single time.
