Clean hit or not (I thought it was clean) it still needed a response. You have to let the other team know that there are dues to be paid when you nail a start player.
Kadri responded as he should have... but (frank) man ... do it the right way.

- Thornton22

That’s right he should pick his spots instead of the crap he does.

What like knee somebody, get away with it, and fake an injury to draw a penalty.

Hard to when the guy goes down like a soccer player and acts dead then waits for Chara to step in and save his ass. The same ol same ol

Realistically after looking at the play again he probably wont get any games. It really wasn’t that bad.

He cross checked him to the face.

People can troll all they want. But deep down they know the officiating was awful.

That honestly had to be one of the worst officiating I've ever seen.

Whatever it's over and done with now, on to game 3.

they gave the Rangers the 2nd overall pick in the draft and the 3rd overall to Hawks, so the Broons need something to keep the $$ flowing from another of the big markets... gotta get the revenue... Toronto fans will keep paying $$ all year long.... but you have to throw the other teams' fans a bone to keep the money flowing...

kadri 3 games repeat offender, head shot

- kaptaan

You care about this way too much. I take you aren’t a Leaf or Bruin fan? Find something else to do on a Saturday night than troll another fanbase online.

You said your piece, you don’t need to keep repeating the same thing over and over again. Find something better to do.

Who’s had a bigger impact for his team, Nylander or DeBrusk???

Remember?

If they had called the attempt on his leg, it wouldn't have even been a thing. That was one of the most pathetically reffed games I've ever watched, and that is the kind of poop that happens when the ref puts the whistle away every single time.
- joel878

I think Kadri sold it. The guy put his shoulder first and was steering in that direction anyway. I don't think it was terribly malicious

Wow after watching the highlights Kadri should’ve actually made contact with the crosscheck. Maybe twice. (frank) Debrusk. He played like a b!tch and deserved anything he got.
- iTOLDu

Too bad he didn't get him good. Now he can hide behind Chara some more

Parros never gives the Leafs a break, probably still blames them from the concussion that Orr gave him that ended his career. Remember that Hyman hit, he got two games for an interference hit that caused no injury and was to the chest of the player.

I don’t trust his judgment on suspensions, it’s been pick and choose all year.

True, but he only really put a Nylander type effort into that cross check

Kadri did the right to thing and stood up for a teammate when no one else all game had the nuts to do it.
Kadri braincramped and went for the crosscheck to the face.... Not smart.

- Thornton22

It was great to see nylander skate over and watch chara beat his teammate.

Ah well. We knew boston was gonna win game 2.
Onto the next.

- LeafGuy89

The players had no idea what was going to be called so they were hesitant. The refs ruined the game.

We have so few, that it looks really bad when they do.

Stupid thing about Kadri is, I've never seen Marleau come in aid of his defense, so I don't know why he bothered. Other than the Jersey actually meaning something to him

That’s not how this works.

There’s a (frank) ton more to a team than what you think it is. It’s not just games and practicing.

Agreed - hope Jacobs doesn't convince Gary to suspend Kadri for the rest of the series.

Dubas will be on Parros hard for the poop the Bruins were doing too. That DeBrusk knee-on-knee was bullpoop. So much garbage they were getting away with.

He crosschecked him in the face! You would go down like a sack too.

Chara backs up his teammates just like I said Kadri was doing. I see no problem with players protecting other players, especially the younger ones.

To say he sold it is ridiculous. Kadri dives, but I can't recall to many times him staying down after a hit. It was leg on leg, ever had one of those? You pretty much wonder if you're ever going to walk again in the moment.

If you're talking things that were sold, just look at debrusk and that cross-check.

It’d a playoff series with two good teams.

Have to make adjustments every night, it’s hopefully something they have learned to do from losing the past two series.

- Santo_44

It’s a best of 5 now....Leafs have played the Bruins enough to know what to expect so we will see what happens Monday
