When the ref's don't call the borderline hits it's up to the players to set the tone. The players are more than capable of policing the game too.
Not just this game but a zillion other ones over the years.
Refs should have called more on both sides.

Nylander's deal isn't as big a deal as it's made out to be. Nick Schmaltz got much the same deal for similar output. Nylander had a down year but his skill is an asset in the trade market.

I really think that is if McDavid wants to move then it's Matthews & Nylander as the foundation for a deal. This might be a bit premature because the truth is we're going home at 1-1 but there's obvious questions and being hypothetical here we need to be honest that our defence and goaltending hasn't been a weak point.
