I know. I'm just saying what I think it should be because I think it's stupid that he's getting 5 at minimum.

No, it’s definitely not.. especially as time goes on, Babs gets stuck in his ways. After Zetterberg’s stoicism got to Toews in 2013 and then Captain (frank)face learned to deal with it, Babs kept trying the same damn thing against him and we lost after being up 3-1.

I like Babs. He's a great coach for a lot of reasons, but I think almost everyone in here has realized he's not perfect. It wasn't always that way in here.
I'm hoping he changes tactics somehow, but we'll see. Bad at line matches or not, home ice will benefit the Leafs.

Which is why he will get 3+. Still doesn't mean he should.

Still think it should only be 2 or 3. It was bad, I'm not saying it wasn't, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Debrusk played it up to be.

It would make more sense, to me, for Debrusk to get a game or 2 for the blatant knee than it would for Kadri getting 5+.

But that's just me.

I hear you.. those team tinted glasses always suck. And I mean that in an honest manner. I still believe Kronwall should NEVER have been even penalized for any hit he did.. they always seem clean to me.

I’m a coach Q fan even though his Hawks got in our way. Babs is good but not great.

Yep. He’s an amazing coach. Just some people think he’s that much better than anyone else at first glance.. the Wings and JS Giggy got him a lot of his reputation. That and Team Canada. I think he’ll adapt well, though. He’s been good at listening to his team and assistants on how to become better and how to adapt.

I don't think it's a stretch to consider both as great coaches.

Which Lady Bynger do you prefer?

Actually - it might be worth considering a player that could actually play hockey -

Paul Kariya - nice BC boy, he could hockey and he took this crosscheck - pretty sure it shortened his brilliant career. I don't remember if Suter even was suspended for it. One of the dirtiest hits I ever saw. Broke his jaw.

This. Every great coach has knocks against them. Arbour, Hitchcock, Sutter.. even Bowman had the best teams of the last fifty years to play with and couldn’t do shít with the second tier Sabres.

I'm still and will always be more mad at our assistant coaches than him.
He supposedly has little to nothing to do with our lackluster Powerplay and (frank) whoever that guy is

He should be suspended. As the idiot Bruins fan from Saskatchewan pointed out, he's stupid. A central aspect of learning is to understand mistakes and not repeat them. He cost his team last year and this year too.

He’s had some good assistant coaches in Detroit.. Todd Maclelan, Paul Maclean, Bill Peters, Jeff Blashill, and Brad MacCrimmin. [(frank)ing give up on autocorrect on my ipad]

There’s a commercial playing right now of a woman holding on to a half meter wide balloon and floating over mountains. It has a do not attempt warning.

Jim Hiller should be fired after this season. How the Leafs could have a terrible power play with that much talent is unbelievable. He's the assistant coach that works on the Leaf powerplay

Hire Jeff Blashill. Please. Don’t care how or why, just do it. I want Yzerman to have his pick as POHO

Leafs shot themselves in the foot with this performance. They should have known when Backes was inserted into the line-up, the style and intensity was going to change. Instead of just playing their game, they got sucked into it. Andersen was the only reason they didn't get absolutely blown out and embarrassed.

If Kadri gets more than 3 games (likely), they still have two strong lines but Nylander has got to wake the (frank) up and start contributing because if the Leafs lose this series, it'll be Kadri or Nylander who get moved in the offseason. Maybe both at this rate. One guy is not doing enough and the other is trying to do too much. Neither one is helping the team.

Nylander has two points so far? He’s doing a decent job at it too.

No thanks, I hope the Leafs can get Paul McFarland. Was an assistant coach with the Panthers that ran the #1 power play in the league. With Quenville signing there, maybe he brings in his own coaches.

The 3rd goal against was almost entirely his fault. It's about more than his points.

Damn pop back in and see we found the Nucklehead's equivelent of UG.

No surprises on things at all, moving on to Game 3.

Only thing I will say is Avery was decent in his comments, and Babs could have spoken up for his guys some instead of just shrugging and meh'ing through it all. Torts at least would have had a damn field day and shown his guys he gave a damn for them.

God, do I (frank)ing hate Mike Smith. But he’s a fun goalie to watch.
