Still think it should only be 2 or 3. It was bad, I'm not saying it wasn't, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Debrusk played it up to be.

It would make more sense, to me, for Debrusk to get a game or 2 for the blatant knee than it would for Kadri getting 5+.

But that's just me.

- GreatGigInTheSky

I thought it all had to do with whether the other player got injured?

DeBrusk wasn't injured and played the next shift.

What's the issue?

No thanks, I hope the Leafs can get Paul McFarland. Was an assistant coach with the Panthers that ran the #1 power play in the league. With Quenville signing there, maybe he brings in his own coaches.

Maybe Dan Bylsma? Obviously not as a head coach but he knew what to do with talent in Pittsburgh and the Sabres PP was actually very good his last year in Buffalo too if he was the guy in charge of those PPs.

Here are some issues.

1) Kadri is the only player in the NHL to get suspended for more than two games for a crosscheck. Most suspensions for crosschecks in the past 5 years have been for only one game.......except Kadri got 4 games.

2) Former goon Parros is the judge and jury on these matters and he hates the Leafs.

3) Jeremy Jacobs, the owner of the Bruins is the most influential and powerful owner in the NHL. If he wants the NHL to do somenthing.... Gary obliges - instantly.

4) Kadri is set for an in-person hearing tomorrow which means the suspension is likely to be between 5 and 10 games.

How's it a strike if he's not injured? DeBrusk was fine. He's a big bad Bruin. He brushed it off and everyone had a good laugh.

I don't see the issue. Surely it takes more than that to hurt a Bruin, no?

Conditional 7th round pick. If the PP improves, Red Wings get the pick.

The funniest bit is George Parros having that role.

It would be like putting me in charge of judging a horse prancing around event thingy.

So couldn't he just tell the NHL to give the Bruins the Cup right now?

You think it could be that open?

What would the other owners do?

Would be pretty good second choice. Think about the talent on Florida - Keith (frank)ing Yandle scored 39 power play points for Florida. Team leaders on Toronto were Marner and Rielly with 21 each. Florida had 4 players with over 30 power play points. McFarland is only 31 and was head coach of Kingston Frontenacs - sounds like he's pretty good.

No but he can tell Gary that if you call more than one penalty on our team tonight I'm going to slap your pee pee.

That would explain why Brad Marchand hasn't been suspended 20 times in his career.

Regardless of tonight, it truly is the most piss poor ran league I've ever come across.

He's been suspended 6 times. And he hasn't given them a reason for a 7th (yet). He also scored 100 points so he's not a complete goon either. Yeah, he's a rat but he's usually smart about it. Kadri hasn't been. Burke said it the best, take a number, get the guy back another game. Kadri got payback in the dumbest way possible.

It's at least 5 - an in person hearing was announced tonight. It's only a phone interview for 5 games or less. He has to go dance in front of former goon Parros. What a (frank)en joke. Scored 36 points in 476 games - Parros should be making decisions that relate to improving the quality of hockey. Absolutely brilliant.
- winsix

Parros in such a role is ridiculous. Why don't they find a real player to take that role, like Lidstrom when he retired, or Sakic, or Datsyuk, or any other recent retired hockey player that actually was known for playing the game in an honorable or lady bing-esque manner, rather than a former punching bag? It's absurd.

Kadri is pretty much gone for this series. Time for Gauthier and Nylander to step it up. Can Dubas make a call up from the Marlies when Kadri gets sentenced? Bruins played dirty in the first game, Leafs won because they didn't take the game to the gutter and retalliate. Need the same in game 3
- winsix

Yeah, there is another guy who could maybe step it up.
