The NHL needs to decide if they want playoff hockey or if they don't want playoff hockey.

Kadri, Hyman, Muzzin, Marchand, DeBrusk, Chara, Pastrnak, Grezlyk, Krejci and McAvoy were playing playoff hockey.

The rest weren't.

Depends on if they can prove clear intent, especially since he doesn’t have the history Kadri does.

A few seconds in. Its interference pretty clearly, but the slash after? Thats at least a 5. Could be given a game. A two handed slash to a player on the ice? Hell i could see that given a few games.

30 seconds in? Thats another two shots to the head to a player on the ice. Pretty gutless, cant argue intent, and should get penalized, if not more.

At the mijute mark, not only an elbow but third man in. Usually automatic suspension.

Im not crying at all. Jeez cant you read? I responded to a post questioning intent with several incidents of clear content. I like what kadri did, i just think he should have squared up and gotten a better shot, face to face, on bergeron. At the very least get a much better shot on debrusk.

I do like the bad blood as well, this is fun.

we can nitpick specific dirty plays here and there -- and there were tons on both sides -- but the problem is that the refs cannot let it get out of hand, they can't let the crowd dictate how the game is going to be played, and they can't put the whistles away for a game and "let them play" when that kind of shenanigans is going on.

Guy's will get hurt, careers will get shortened. Nobody wants that.

The problem is that "playoffs hockey" essentially translates into "wholly inconsistent officiating" for the most part.
