Yea I think it was pelech that got punched square in the face and the ref put his arm up. Then they wrestle and magically its coincidentals, ref put his arm up for the initial hit so it should have been a minor for roughing on pelech and a double minor on pens player

Yea well they aren't handling it well. To be fair Crosby and Kessel have done ok with it Malkin cant handle it at all. Kessel has been their best player as far as creating so far. They may be versed in it js but clearly they aren't handling it well at all, theres no room time or space for them and they have admitted as much

Fair enough. I think part of it is simply that the Isles are the hungrier team. The key guys on the Pens already have 3 Stanley Cups! Most of the Islanders have never been past the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Edit: Plus, there are some key Islanders who are UFAs, playing for their big payday.

I thought it was more than that throughout the playoffs but I'm not positive. Either way I recall Fleury playing an almost equal part in it. I'd ask the pens thread but now isnt the time ir is it?

2017 Cup run was Fleury up until game 3 or so of the ECF and then Murray ran with it the rest of the way.

2016 Cup Zatkoff played the first two playoff games and then it was Murray. Fleury had concussion issues.

Coaching really does matter. You can have talent but if you have no system or you play a lousy system it will not work. Isles had no structure for years and it showed.

Hes a moron but how could you miss that. Total hypocrite. The leafs are all speed and skill abs the Bruins are big and physical and have skill too. If/Tampa goes down I think this is their conference to lose along with the caps.
