They definitely aren't as "heavy" of a team as they used to be though. Leafs are actually out-hitting them in this series and have matched their physicality in 2 out of 3 games so far.

The 2011 Bruins would've bullied this Leafs team, but not sure about the 2019 Bruins.

I am a believer that Willie's coaching style set Virtanen back a couple years, as his ice time was reduced after that hit, on Polak, that got him a 2 game suspension.
Jake appeared to be playing much softer since and only hits with an impact at a fraction of what he is capable of, since the scolding of Super soft Willie.

Fans complain about the lack of intensity in games. They hate the staged fights. But what drives legitimate intensity is emotion. When a games intensity increases so does the emotion. The result is a cross check to the face.

You start handing out 7 gamers for that then say goodbye to any emotional investment from the players in the future.

Not defending Kadri in amy way but sh!t like this will happen. DeBrusk goes after Marleau and Kadri pays him back. If the players don't want this crap then don't take liberties or there will be consequences and sometimes those consequences are cheap and dirty a 'la' Bertuzzi.

Paying him back SHOULD have been him dropping the gloves and knocking him out in a fight, not cross checking him in the side of the head when he wasn't fully aware. You should be able to take liberties and get revenge, but do it within the rules of the game. Even when Kadri does drop the gloves, he has to take a fist size ball of hair out of a guy's beard while doing so. Kadri is a pu$$
