I’m not sure of points trade value it’s hard when he was on a stacked team he probably be a 70 point player here or he could be a James harden that is a superstar and can do his own thing

Sabres with Skinner, Jack, Sam, Mitts, Dahlin are very soft.
And bringing in toughness for 8 min 4th liners leaves 52 minutes to be physically dominated.

The roster is about 1/3 done I realize, so there is time, and the time is now to bring in a guy like Cozens who is smart, tough and skilled with a strong motor...a perfect 1RW for Jack and Skinner/Olofsson.

Trade up for Boldy, another finisher who plays a man's game for #2RW.
Two stud RW's for 1st and 2nd line.
Reino for 3RW is nice, would be great for Mitts...and maybe use FA to sign another competent LW who plays with toughness.

Unless he develops a selkie caliber defensive game or figures out how to be a play maker and rack up 35 assists to go along with his 40 goals he is not worth $9M. He is marginally better then E.Kane and Kane got 7x7
