probably closer to the player that put up 56 points this year then the crazy numbers last year

89 probably knows more, as he probably watches a lot more of their games

IMO perfect second line center, but then what was Casey drafted for, not a 3rd line center

I think he needs to move to the wing if we get a proven center

- homiedclown

I'd love a 60 point second line center...

The question is would you send your late 1st for him?

So basically:

Kane and ROR turn into Montour Karlsson Thompson O'Regan

Am I missing anything?

Also $6.5 million per year for Karlsson sounds about right to me

Josh Anderson in CBus.
24
1 year left at $1.85m, then RFA...still controllable
27/20/47
Physical beast

Would you trade 7-OA to them?
Would CBus take it in view of no Picks of value this year?
Add Nylander to if if not

Heard Ralph Krueger's name get mentioned. Not that he's interviewing, but Sabres expressed some interest in the past I guess. Looks like he's trying to come back to hockey.
- RhinoFan

Thanks.

I heard that, as well, but that he wanted to come back as a president of hockey ops or something, though, yes?

He's apparently very well respected around the league, but his nhl coaching results were very "meh".

Good post ion-

I just doubt any team trades out of the top 10

Seems like that's been the "cut off" since flaccoville starting tanking in December

I don't think Ovie did anything wrong. Kid just got knocked out for stepping up.

Probably slept with his girlfriend or sister when he was on his Stanley Cup celebration tour last summer.

Or his mom

When did Yost start writing for the Buffalo News?

Also I don't hate this idea:

https://buffalonews.com/2...-free-agency-travis-yost/

Re-sign Skinner

Skinner Eichel Olofsson
Nylander Karlsson Reinhart

I don't hate it

- Stripes77

Not only is he a contributor, Harrington even chimed in with a "he's not one of us" in a media on media crime, where Wawrow was being a salty pr!ck and Yost was like.... k

Good stuff.

Is There a Cure for Anger?
Anger is not something you can get rid of. It is a normal, healthy emotion shared by all people everywhere. When it gets out of hand, though, anger can become destructive and lead to all sorts of personal problems.

While you can’t cure anger, you can manage the intensity and effect it has upon you. Effective therapeutic strategies exist for managing anger and can help you become less reactive. You can even learn to develop more patience in the face of people and situations you cannot control.

Therapies for Anger Management Issues
Many therapeutic strategies are available to help you deal with anger issues. Some of these include:

Cognitive behavioral therapy
Improvements in communication skills
Focus on problem-solving
Avoidance of problematic situations
Humor and self-deprecation
While it’s possible to improve your anger response on your own, a qualified practitioner can help you move more quickly to successful management.

I've been throwing out the W Karlsson idea sporadically here. It'd be an amazing idea and I'd give up a generous package to acquire his rights.

According to Instigators, Blessing thinks Gronborg should be the guy for the Sabres.

I love the idea, I hate the unproven, non existent NHL record, and who knows if a Swede will be able to truly communicate with the north Americans. Not simply a language barrier, but truly communicate on and off the ice. It's significant.

On the”Swedish Jesus”he should win rookie of the year

a forward scoring 66 points has Been done numerous times

A 18 year old defenseman scoring 45 points has only been done twice in NHL history

That’s a pretty easy decision for me

- gerbe75pts

I didn’t think “Swedish Jesus” would catch on as much as it has. Maybe I should of trademarked it when I had the chance. Stay tuned for my new username though when I finally update it after July 1st to turn the page on the last 8 years.

Karlsson would play the “Kadri” role so to speak for us. That’s why I liked the idea of Brock nelson in FA as well for that reason. Either can play the 2C role right now and then when Casey eventually blows up either player could move into the 3C role and give us some fantastic depth down the middle.

Grönborg is actually a dual Swedish-American citizen after playing college hockey at St. Cloud State in Minnesota and spending the first 10 years of his coaching career in places like Wisconsin, Montana and Texas. He married a woman from Salt Lake City and holds a master’s degree in management and leadership.

Finally someone talking about the Karlsson that the Sabres should target. Not the one that is going to get paid too much for too long.

I know he's been here. I didn't know it was that long though. I think it's fair to wonder if he's too deep in a European mindset and if he's truly relatable to NA's.
