Telling someone they're "grossly fat" on the internet is something we can all avoid.

Eakin
Tuch
Reeves, are the players that were mentioned to move.

- SABRES 89

I'll take Tuch!

Reaves most likely would be dealt but he's doing what he does best in these playoffs already

$2.75 for Reaves
$4.75 for Tuch

$7.5 million

they're $2.85 mill over

that leaves them with $4.65 million I am assuming they move Eakins as well for there is another $3.85

Gives them $8.5 million to work with to sign Karlsson, Subban, Gusev, Schuldt

This is assuming they don't bring back Bellemare and Engelland

They're their own worst enemy right now. They got too good too fast and they didn't plan their cap out well enough.

They're becoming the Blackhawks minus the cups!

No friggin way. He's starting a new contract next season. I'd be floored if they moved Tuch.

Engelland is a loved in this city from his days with the Wranglers, they will bring him back. I don't know how comfortable they are with Subban. Reeves and Bellemare are fan favorites here also Bellemare does alot in the community along with Engelland and Schmidt and Fleury.

Vegas is 3M over with Clarkson. So they're actually about 2 under, with Wild Bill as the only significant RFA.

Gusev, Nosek, Subban, Schuldt will be getting around minimum wage for an RFA. Clearing out Reaves and/or Eakin will easily solve the issue. Tuch being a cap casualty at this point is unbelievable.

Thanks.

I heard that, as well, but that he wanted to come back as a president of hockey ops or something, though, yes?

He's apparently very well respected around the league, but his nhl coaching results were very "meh".

Could very well be PoHO or bust with him. Not sure. Just saw he left his job at Southampton, pointing to a possible return to the NHL. They've talked to him before, nothing more to it than that though.

The guy is 37.. you think they keep him and force the newly signed, 22 year old, 52 point Tuch out the door? I just don't see it. It's horrid management.

I don't care how old Engelland is, he's loved in this city and the management know it.

Great thought, but you're a little late.
I suggested just that as the last couple posts in the previous blog.

Sabres 2019th later pick (say 18th), plus either Nylander or 2020 2nd
For
10th OA and mid 4th

Draft Cozens at 7th-OA, Draft Boldy at 10th-OA.
Boom,
High Hockey IQ, play with an edge/physicality, strong motor, finishing on the RW.

I'm available when Botts get axed.
I'll bring the Swede and Skinner signs 6 years at $8.75m

I know he's been here. I didn't know it was that long though. I think it's fair to wonder if he's too deep in a European mindset and if he's truly relatable to NA's.

This is from an interview last November:

"At the same time, I think it’s very universal because when you get to those big tournaments, I’m talking the Olympics with NHL players or the World Cups or even the World Championships, with NHL players coming back to the national teams. They’re used to playing in North American rinks, against North American players, in a North American environment.

And those are the type of players I’ve been coaching for the last few years, so it’d be kind of stupid of me to play the same way the Swedes did in 1995 and expect to have success that way. I think the game right now is so universal, I don’t think there’s a big difference. There is a tactical difference when it comes to a larger or smaller rink, but other than that the way you work on your players, the way you prepare your players before the game I feel is pretty universal."
