It’s easy to call the team subpar after watching the series. But, that’s not the pens being sub par, it’s literally the isles just phucking dominating.

Listen you wanna call the pens an average team. So be it. Guentzel had 40 goals during the season and did d1ck in the post season. The isles have an average roster on paper but the coaching was far superior. The pens coaches couldn’t combat the tenacity of the isles. The isles stifled some of the best NHLers in the league to little or no points the ENTIRE series. That’s phucking HUGE

I can’t believe it. Honestly. The pens had no answer. Very reminiscent of former isles teams (i.e weight/capuano). What i think is that certain teams coaches are being exposed. I can understand if you get beat in a game and then come back and combat that system. But the pens couldn’t combat the isles. The isles gave them Zerooo room. Simply put, Trotz is one of the best coaches in the league.

Yes exactly. Especially now that we’ve beaten them. Pre series it was all Pens in five tops six now they suck. Hockeybuzz where opinions and predictions are always subject to change and amendments.
