Yeah, but there's often language in the sales contract that requires the seller to manage the business in good faith and avoid any acts which would tend to diminish the value of the assets. Maybe your Uber connections can get us a copy of the contract of sale.

True but the contracts to employees etc. are all open and upfront for the buyers if not it can be deemed as fraud and a reason for the sale to be reversed. So that said the golden parachutes or loyal soldier safety nets are upfront and disclosed as was Mr. Snows’.

That's what I don't remember clearly. I had this recollection that Snow's final long-term contract happened AFTER Wang entered into the contract to sell majority ownership in the team, but before the actual transition to L & M took place. Thus, L & M would have had an argument that Wang had diminished the asset (i.e., the Islander franchise) that they had purchased.

Regardless, it's good to know he's playing golf with JR instead of (frank)ing up the Islanders.
