again though, too much emphasis is on a players height.

If you get a Point/Debricant who can constantly produce, who cares about his height. Speed and Skill to me trump *insert Dons avatar* an average players height/weight any day. Again, if a midget can score 30-40 goals for us, and Bracket is completely confident in his scouting with this, I have absolutely no problem with him drafting more Madden's, or a Caufield. I trust Bracket knows what hes looking at as far as the crop of USHL kids that are destined to be 1st round picks, I just want him to be 150% sure if he is going to draft a smaller player like Caufield.

It's more that the % of players say under 5'8 that make is so low that picking 1 is pretty much a wasted pick. We've picked 2 and both have been a waste. Not many Theo fluery's out there. Pretty much him and Martin st Louis are the only ones the last 20 years that made a good career

That would apply to the Islanders more. CBJ had some solid play from the whole team. They scored goals... didnt rely on Bobs.
