Not Marwood's fault. It sounds like that boy's body is broken. It sucks, like being trapped. |

Where he ranks Zegras & Tomasino shows how (frank)ed up this draft is going to be - DrChristianTroy
cant be any worse then last season. I'm glad though. There's a tweet from a scout saying Benning could end up with his 5-6 best player at 10. |

I suspect Tampa Bay casualties to fit in Point are.....Callahan, Johnson and either Gourde or Miller.
I'd be all over Miller myself. Johnson seems like a shoot first kind of player and that wont work well with Horvat. - chompsey
Agreed. I’ll take Miller over Johnson as well. |

lol I might be off to my worst 1st round predictions in history. SJ, PIT TBAY, CGY hell TO might even beat BOS.
Go Jets! - LordHumungous
So far I got the Bolts wrong, The Islanders right, Vegas looks like I'll get right, I picked Calgary, Jets, Boston, Caps... so we'll see.

I'm glad. I had Hughes at 4 even though I disliked the pick because of organizational need but I realize BPA. |

5-6 on his list. teams ahead of us may not take the popular choice, like last year. |

That excites me. No different then Benning having Boeser at 10 and getting him at 23. Hughes at 4 and getting him at 7 or EP at 1 and getting him at 5 |

That would apply to the Islanders more. CBJ had some solid play from the whole team. They scored goals... didnt rely on Bobs. - boonerbuck
Don't get me wrong Lehner was very good and made some great saves, but it's not like he was getting peppered with shots non stop. The Isles play a shutdown style and they played it to a T against the Pens. They beat the pens to every loose puck took the body and literally had pens players looking over their shoulders along the boards and giving up the puck in the process. Eberle & Barzal were skating circles around them. Sh!t even Tom Kuhnhackl was solid |

Where did you find Benning’s Rankings?
Wasn’t it rumoured that Makar was #1 followed by EP?
Hughes at 4 sounds about right. Also curious about what your source is on Brock at 10?
I always love seeing where teams officially ranked players they drafted so I’m genuinely curious. |

I’d say even after 2 or 3 it becomes difficult to predict.
Very few sites had Zadina going later than both Kotkaniemi and Tkachuk last year or Dobson going that late. |

I think there is a lot of speculative comments made here, yesterday it was Bracket, I'll be happy with whomever Brackett decides, Brackett is the man, Brackett chooses the player....yada, yada.
Today it's Benning, tomorrow it will be Gradin, next week Christian Aquilini, then circle back to Brackett |

I was shocked to read that Delorme was one of the scouts pushing hard for EP, goes to show that you can’t judge a book by its cover. |

I’d be shocked if it wasn’t, especially for early picks. I think the later rounds is usually when one of the more respected scouts gets to really push for “their guy” to get picked since I doubt Benning/Brackett get the time to personally scout every prospect.
Like Gradin with Edler. |

Probably. They definitely didn't have EP at #1 because if they did he would have come out and said so. All JB will say in interviews is "We had him very high" |
