I think getting any kind of return for Sutter at this point would be bettering the team so long as its for picks and not tweener players. He serves pretty much no purpose to the Canucks anymore. - NorthNuck
He’s redundant imo
At C we have our 4 to run with. |

This is true, but I can outright refuse any trade proposal that will make this club worse rather than better.
I wasn't against Sven for a second or Gudbranson for Pearson, I like Beagle as a UFA, I like Roussel as a UFA. Leivo I'm still on the fence but wasn't upset with the trade.
I didn't mind Sutter, while Nucker and Bingo were spazzing and I do think he would be a trade prospect with a better return than a what vintsy thinks.
Please JB make a sensible trade, not another crap player in for the masses to jump on every blog, 20 pages a blog...(see Gudbranson, Pouliot, Beiga) - Makita
This is year 5. I think we need to curb our expectations. |

For those who don’t notice when i make trade proposals they are OBVIOUSLY one sided to the degree i get shot down. That said they are starting points & can be altered to consumate a deal. Exploring trades is the gist of it. Look inside the offers deeper to see my reasoning including cap implications & our current roster. - Nighthawk
I think you’d get a lot less flock if maybe you visited the other team’s blogs and found out what it would take. Like what Sabres fans would be interested in for Ristolainen. Also, HF has a forum just for trade talk where fans of all 31 teams give opinions on trades.
That would give you a leg to stand on and perhaps give us all insight into how other fans value our players/prospects.
Just a suggestion. |

I'm not telling you how to do anything, just pointing out how weird it is to come to a hockey forum day after day to tell others to f*ck off and poop on their thoughts and ideas.
I've seen plenty of disagreements on here happen civily, but that's usually because both people are talking about hockey, not calling each other retards - NorthNuck
I do post about hockey. You and many others just don't like what I say and dismiss it as non-hockey trolling. |

He was a duct tape trade that hasn’t worked out. Time to move on from him & get a pick or package him. |

Like any GM i ask for too much.
I want a 3rd but settle on a 4th but seek a packaged trade 1st if i get what i want. His contract is the hold up is my reason. |

I'm mean he's got to know what's coming, his family has a horse farm, how many horses have been put down on that farm? |

Ian MacIntyre said the other day, against popular opinion Sutter does have trade value , and Canucks do get asked about him quite often.
Benning said about a month ago he believes Canucks are a playoff team with a healthy Sutter. |

This is the problem with Benning, questionable trades that he then signs to extensions (Sutter & Guddy) hoping they get better. |

I feel your frustration as well. This fan base was never prepared for the ups and downs of rebuilding a team in the Canuck"s situation. It was always going to be on the fly as long as the Sedins were still on the team. It was always going to give the owner hopes of cashing in by surrounding them with what ever JB could find... buy high sell low crap. The fans that couldn't imagine letting the Sedins walk years ago now refuse to admit they underestimated the negatives of signing them all the way to retirement and now funnel the focus away from the near nearsightedness...

You do post about hockey SOMEtimes. The main thing that I think people may find irritating is that you can be very responsive in your comments without providing ideas of your own.
It just comes off as inflammatory sometimes when you only tell others they are wrong and openly brag about not providing your own ideas. |

On Risto its universal he can put up points & knocked for D. RHD are in demand & don’t come cheap if top 4. In the case of Buffalo i said they need more vets in key positions. 3C is one & a true shutdown D man to help them. Goal could be better.
Sabres need a hockey trade |

He just can’t put together a consistent season; regardless of the excuse. If a GM or coach can’t rely on that player to have a consistent role on the team, why trade for him? |

I really hope it's true that he has value elsewhere and i also really hope JB doesn't really think he provides that much value to us |
