Ian MacIntyre said the other day, against popular opinion Sutter does have trade value , and Canucks do get asked about him quite often.
Benning said about a month ago he believes Canucks are a playoff team with a healthy Sutter. - VANTEL
What value has he heard? |

You do post about hockey SOMEtimes. The main thing that I think people may find irritating is that you can be very responsive in your comments without providing ideas of your own.
It just comes off as inflammatory sometimes when you only tell others they are wrong and openly brag about not providing your own ideas. - NorthNuck
I gave you my own idea. I said don't trade to fill holes and continue to draft & develop. You chose to dismiss that. |

He just can’t put together a consistent season; regardless of the excuse. If a GM or coach can’t rely on that player to have a consistent role on the team, why trade for him? - bloatedmosquito
A lot of people wearing Canucks hats have had trouble putting together a consistent season . They usually continue their success after they leave.

Why do you come here and sh*t on every one's ideas? - Marwood
Because I’m not pooping on anything. I mean it, no (frank)ing trades.
I don’t trust this organization’s pro scouting evaluations. Secondly, JB’s not a strong negotiator, whether with other GMs or player agents. |

Neither worked out so move Sutter out.
I agree on JB but he is getting better. - Nighthawk
I think Aquilini took back the cheque book. |

You may not, mods tend to on forum sites. Looks like you've found yourself a nice balance of posting on-topic just often enough to avoid getting banned a lot more often |

Considering the source, I’m a bit sceptical.
I 100% believe Sutter has value but “asked often” sounds like an outdated report, I could believe that last summer but not now.
Unless it’s a bunch of GM’s just seeing if they can get him cheap or for a similar Pearson-Gudbranson deal |

On Risto its universal he can put up points & knocked for D. RHD are in demand & don’t come cheap if top 4. In the case of Buffalo i said they need more vets in key positions. 3C is one & a true shutdown D man to help them. Goal could be better.
Sabres need a hockey trade - Nighthawk
It’s always better to get the other side’s perspective though, brings more credibility to a trade idea.

You know what's a big sign of lacking intelligence? Generalizing people into boxes so that you can keep your uneducated opinions about them straight |

The most successful teams lately are teams that are active with trades.
Mtl StL Car Cgy Ari Chi were the most active last summer
CBJ WpG VGK at TDL
I don't want to only use the draft to build. |

The offseason will be the easiest & best time to move Sutter. I cannot understand how JB can say or think Sutter makes us a PO team. Starting with that means Gaudette has to go to Utica or 2-3 other players don’t belong here. |

No pizza, miso soup with sardines packed on soy oil, so I'm probably light headed from hunger. |

That’s because the team isn’t good so not sure how that’s some shocking revelation
When the team was good, guys like Ehrhoff struggled when leaving for inferior teams. |
