First AV, now McLellan... are there NO up & coming coaches out there?
- DrChristianTroy

Last week Quennville.
All 3 replaced up and coming coaches in Boughner, Gordon and Willie.

Interesting. That would be considered an off the board pick so you must really like him
- Nucker101

I do really like him and was big on him at start of season.
He is having a fantastic playoff in the Q with 20 points in 11 games.
His team swept to move onto the 3rd round.
Scorer, playmaker plays with a bit of an edge, decent skater, plays centre and wing, has decent size.
His only downfall is he is a bit inconsistent and he doesn't play in USHL.😁

no other small players mentioned score at the rate Caulfield does against the level of competition, he reminds me of Brad Marchand the way he skates and plays, he is almost a goal a game in his career , you can't teach that kind of scoring, i hope we get him
- onesmallleap

to play devils advocate, he plays on a top line with Hughes and Zegras in the USNDP. His Wisconsin Badgers have a plethora of players who are going to be picked up in the upcoming draft. Caufield has also produced with AND without Hughes on his line, so the offense is there, but you can't discredit who he has played with when accounting for those stats.

The fact that there isn’t an exciting young hockey mind out there is pretty depressing. AV is trash & so is McLellan.

It is actually depressing. Someone mentioned here that at least Philly will get 5 years before the players tune AV out. Sh!t I think in EDM it only took 3 years with McClellan lol

Ya and if Bettman gets his way there will be 20 teams in the PO's after Seattle is in.

Don't be shocked if we see a Euro 8 team division to round the league out to 40 teams. Bettman is that money-hungry for expansion fees.

As much poop as Green gets in here at least he doesn't shy away from playing the young guys in key situations and otherwise. I can't imagine what a nightmare it would have been to see Willie play Petey and Quinn 9 mins a game while they "earn it"

This.

They haven't replaced Green with a willing coach on the Comets unfortunately.

Considering Green does a lot of the things Willie got constantly criticized for not doing he sure still catches a lot of poop
