I think they’ve been playing meaningless hockey for most of the season while Columbus has been playing playoff hockey for a month. The Lightening just couldn’t flip the switch.

Bob was pretty darn good too, he had an up and down season but he's a hell of a goalie and often a hot goalie is enough on the playoffs or at least for a series or two.

fair point but 62 wins has to count for something no? To go out like that....
- LordHumungous

They spent the last few weeks of the season trying to feed Kucherov the puck to jack up his point totals instead of making sure they were ready to roll.

TB might be a team to make a trade for Jake , maybe get some skill back if they wanted to add a little weight up front. They certainly got a lot of skill throughout
the team and might be willing to sell low .

I think it is absolutely nuts when people mention signing Hutton

He was good for sure, but I don’t think he stole the series the way Lehner is for the Islanders.

Also true. They didn't want McDavid to catch him that was for sure.

Islanders are a true underdog.

CBJ went all in for the playoffs.... not just additions but keeping Bob and Pan instead of grabbing something for them.

You’ve got to appreciate his commitment to getting better. The guy’s in Vegas as we speak. Isn’t that where all elite athletes go to train during the off-season?

They should make the Pens and Bolts play a game for a Participation Ribbon. Fans deserve better.

Their unpronounceable GM has definitely got a pair. They weren’t even guaranteed to make the playoffs when he made those moves.

I know I mentioned him as someone who would need a 3 million dollar contract, but I don't believe I endorsed signing him, nor do I think Benning is just going to walk away from him unsigned.
Other than that discussion on capspace, I don't think anyone else has suggested he be signed.

Edler stays, a young player out if Hughes is pencilled in... May as well be Hutton. Stetcher is better... but not by much.

Probably the most obvious piece to move for a modest draft pick.

I will be ecstatic, if Hutton is moved.
