Bingo was right - Redmile247
He's just waiting for it to be official then I guarantee he'll be in here puffing his chest
I'm gonna lol if Peters still has Neal in the lineup next game, waste of a roster spot and ice time. Go with someone with speed, the Avs speed is causing the Flames problems.
Your top line needs to wake the (frank) up too, MacK and Rantanen are outclassing them badly. |

I'd bench Gaudreau next game. F it nothing else is working and Avs look like the top seed. |
|

Back to back 50+ shot games for the Avs against the team that lead the league in shots against, Smith is saving the Flames from embarrassment (Tampa style) Avs speed is unstoppable, Johnny hockey needs to take a long look in the mirror |

Also this all started with the terrible Brodie pinch game 2.
I still see a game 5 win but hard to overcome momentum of 2 ot wins. |

I don’t blame him ...he comes in 1 on 2 and curls back to buy time and all you see is 2 more avs ...get the (frank)ing blender out...make an adjustment |

I think game 5 is definitely winnable if they make adjustments, but game 6 is gonna be tough. |

Gaudreau for Hall - Nucker101
Hard pass. Both fails. How about for Edler? |

Can't.
Puts us below our Swede quota. Throw in Lindholm or Andersson. |

That's the problem. He stopped shooting. And Monahan/Lindholm play soft.
Save the 2 goals the line plays like a 3rd line. 3rd time this has happened. |

Plus hooking was allowed tonight which makes Johnny completely useless. |

Theo elevated. Johnny (this far) has proven to be a regular season champ.
Theo won his first year. This is a 3rd fail for Johnny, with easier rules. He has up to 3 games to prove different. If not, he is not helpful. |

Tonight was weird though. What they called in the first, then let go the rest of the way. No doubt Johnny whining to the refs is wearing thin on them though. |

NHL reffing is never consistent and never makes sense ....
At the end of the day they need to make adjustments ...on paper they are a better team ... but they look like they have had it easy all year and the Avs look like they have had to battle and earn it |

If you allow 56 and 52 shots in 2 games you are not the better team. |

Colorado is beating us with speed. Only adding Valimaki was a half measure. Neal should sit a game at least. He hasn't been a factor for the Flames all year long, we shouldn't be spoon feeding him minutes now that the season is on the line.
Tkachuk Money Bennett
Johnny Backlund Lindholm
Czarnik/Dube Janko Frolik
Mangi Ryan Hathaway
Whoever looks the best out of Dube & Czarnik should draw in--I lean towards Dube (Calgary kid--so home playoff game could provide extra motivation).
And for the love of god keep Valimaki in--he's already one of our top 4 dmen |

Limit Brodie's minutes to 3rd pairing, he's prone to costly mistakes and you can't have that on the brink of elimination. Only issue is that Hanifin/Hamonic haven't exactly been great either...
Play the hell out of Gio I guess |

Neal was a -2 tonight...no way he should have been in tonight even. he was behind the play every shift he had. On a positive, Valimaki was outstanding and no way should he come out of the lineup again. |

Not the point. They came first out of a weak west. The fact that Mike Smith is their best player proves it.
Even on paper the team should be ranked 4th st best. They overperformed. I hope they win the next 3. I said 2 days ago they would and whiffed. Here is hoping.
Avs were always the worst matchup (outside of VGS). Should have paid for Stone. |
